I bought this tripod to go with my uGo pochade box for plein air painting because it was compact and light! It was a bit more expensive than other lightweight tripods but it was well worth the price! So easy to use and so compact. Totally recommend this product!

Easy to use easy

I have set this up in my studio, but have not used it yet for Plein Air painting in the field. Hesitate to give something this functional 5 stars until further use. One of the things I like is how small it folds up so I can get it into the smallish backpacks I carry, along with my UGO set up for oil painting. I was not able to get it all the way back to the smaller footprint and a couple pieces will be sticking out of the top of the pack until I can figure out how to get it more compact. Very stable and high quality. Should be able to use in all conditions including wind.

This tripod was a piece of @!&*! Every time I use it, it wobbles, no matter how hard I tighten and try to make it steady. Therefore, it easily tips my liquid containers over, I lose my whole setup, or other catastrophes. I wouldn't wish it on anyone!
