Great supernatural series on reincarnation
**** 5 Star Review ****I had downloaded Pulled sometime last year for free but never had the time to read it and I found the author on Facebook and checked out her new trailor and found I also could get the full series free by using Amazon Prime so I downloaded the trilogy and read it within 2 days. This series was definitely different compared to most supernatural that I have read. The first book is about three main characters whom are Seth, Naya, and Etash. Seth and Naya have been in a two year relationship but it is not a healthy relationship by far. Seth abuses Naya mentally, physically, and emotionally but unfortunately she needs this type of abuse to help numb her how she really feels. Naya lost her parents in a car accident and Seth is the one that has always been there for her. While in college, she meets Etash, the Assistance Dance Director, where she is taking classes for acting and dancing. Etash has his own issues which he wears outside of his face, a scar that was created years ago in an accident that changed his and his families life. He has never had a real relationship and not looking for one because he feels ugly and unloved until the day he runs into Naya. The pull is so strong, that neither one knows what hit them and why they feel this magnetism between one another.Etash's grandmother has told him years that one day he would find his other half and he would know when he found her, his twin flame. A twin flame is your other half of your soul, someone that was a part of you for hundreds of years to death and they will find each other again eventually through the next life, somewhat like a reincarnated soulmate.Seth's control over Naya and his possession takes over stronger when Etash comes in the picture. There is a whole new supernatural that overcomes Seth making him become the Villain with the icey blue eyes. The ending of Pulled definitely through me off and was a major cliffhanger!

I loved the story itself
I loved the story itself. Danielle Bannister has a unique relationship POV that absolutely captured me from the first moment. There were revelations that threw me completely off balance and that I never would have predicted. It was a brilliant look at a truly tortured three way relationship. The ending was a total surprise and tore at my heart. I've never read anything like it. I will buy the next books just to see how the story developes and ends. That being said, I would have liked to see the hero appear a little more masculine. I understand his feelings coming to the surface with all that he's been through and the absence of intimacy in his life. But, I could definitely tell, this book was written by a woman. It may do the author well to ask a male opinion, how he would react if faced with some of the situations which Etash was facing instead of looking at him from a completely female point of view. Seth was such a completely masculine, albeit insane, character. Etash seemed to be written as a typecast male dancer, which I found to be a little insulting. Most of the male dancers I've known are very strong powerful personalities. The maturity of the writing is not fully developed, but I can definitely see good things coming from her, as an author. She has a bright future in front of her.

She's tired though
This concept was very VERY very well executed - the twin souls (deeper than soul mates) that finally meet...however, Naya is horrible as a heroine. It's not her physical weaknesses but her mental ineptitude that do me in. She allows her boyfriend to remain in her life because she says he is all she has. Fine, I'll bite. But then they go to college and she meets Etash the hero and Kari. So even if you feel like you have no one, after the first week of classes you've got new friends. Why make Naya into that dumb broad too dumb to live female, I'll never know. It's annoying. And for those who make Bella Swan/Twilight references I disagree. At least Bella knew her own mind and what she wanted! Naya just lets her boyfriend beat and drug her. After a while I'm sure she would have noticed after EVERY date you feel unnaturally sluggish, or that having someone whip you isn't normal behavior. Bella never let Jacob or Edward do that, just sayin. This book was well written and the premise of having the Twin Souls meet up the way they did....and then the end (I'm not going to spoil it for you).....it was sort of like the movie Memento in that how do you know.....but I promised not to spoil it. Read the book, and if you can force yourself past the flaming piles of ignorance that make up a solid 1/4 of Naya's character then you'll enjoy it. You'll be cussing her out the whole time for stupidity but the story is good so it's forgivable provided Ms. Bannister doesn't make all of her female characters this weak.

Really enjoyed this love story minus the ending!
The story is so frustrating at times. You have Naya who is a college freshman who has begun taking acting classes. Seth, Naya's horribly abusive boyfriend that followed her to school because he is just to possessive to let her go. And Etash who likes to keep to himself due to the long scar that runs down the side of his face. Flash forward to the first day of class. Naya and Etash end up in the same class together but for some unexplainable reason they feel this pull or interest in each other. They are both so frustrated by this that they try to avoid each other only to find their separation almost painful. Unfortunately for Naya and Etash they both get cast in the lead for an upcoming play and will be able to ignore each other no longer. This does not set well for either one of them as their pull towards each other can not be ignored, and while Naya has to deal with her feelings for Etash she also has to deal with Seth and his impatient and abusive ways. By the time Naya and Etash realize they can no longer be apart, Seth steps up his level of anger and all around creepiness! I am warning you this book has a very frustrating ending because just when you think Naya and Etash are going to have their chance, their lives will never be the same again and they will have to count on their pull to find each other again.

Emotional romance
This book was great but there's so many mixed emotions it really gets under your skin. Naya is broken, she's never recovered from the death of her parents. Her boyfriend Seth is the only person she knows and after 2 years he isn't any closer to knowing her, the real her. When she starts college her only fear is making it through but then she meets Etash, and things change. Etash is a loner, not by choice he has a scar which seems to keep people at a distance but when he sees Naya, the pull is too strong to ignore. How will they deal with what's happening when there is danger all around them thanks to Seth?I really enjoyed this story, the idea, writing and characters are great. The idea that your soul always finds its other half is amazing. A beautiful tale of love and unfortunately injustice. I found the ending hard but the start of the next book in the series gives you a sense of things to come. Lots of angst, some romance. Highly emotional. Would recommend.

COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER!!
When I read the reviews I expected this book to be great and the description really had me dying to read it. What can I say? It wasn't that good, I mean the idea was really good but the story fell flat for me. Naya was a bit of cry baby for me, Her boyfriend abused her on a daily basis but she felt this was ok and accepted it, The author did explain this but I still felt it was all wrong, I know abuse victims feel like it is "normal" but it just didn't seem right in this book, I cant really explain it but I didn't find it a great love story but it could have been. I really wanted to love it to. I wont be buying any more if there is more books to this series.

A good start to a series
This is not my usual genre but I am very glad I took this chance on this book. The idea of twin souls looking for each other over several lifetimes is an unusual one and I haven't seen this in a book before. The 2 main characters are very likeable although I wanted to shake Naya and tell her what she was putting up with from her boyfriend wasn't acceptable behaviour and certainly wasn't love. I would actually go so far as to say I hated him, he is the worst sort of person. The ending took me by surprise but I will definitely be reading the following books

Really good series
Not the sort of thing I'd normally read and never read anything by this author before but surprisingly enjoyed it enough that I ended up buying the series to see where the story went. Really enjoyed how the books were written and the story lines were well thought out. You could feel the emotions and engage with the characters throughout the books.

Romantic, yet sad
A fairly so-so novel. I wanted to like this book. Story was a bit of mystery and intrigue. Relationship between Naya and Etash did evoke emotions within me and made me think at times about my life experiences and coincidences. What I disliked about the book was the ending. It matched with rules of a crafting novel, but unfortunately it left me cold and not wanting to read the next book of this series. The same time I can see that this ending was needed to continue the story.I'm giving it four stars because there were some good and enjoyable chapters in this book.
