Every feature of this camera and the APP is impressive except for the video replay. I bought it to monitor babysitter. When I want to monitor the room using the "live" option, it gives me a very clear vision of the room. However, when viewing videos from the APP, a 10-second video takes 15 seconds to replay as the APP has to connect to the camera via wifi. There is no "fast forward" option, and download takes a long time. When I wanted to see what happened during the day after work, it takes forever to replay. I also bought MIOTA hidden camera which doesn't have a good APP so I can't monitor live; however the SD card is so easy to take out for fast forward replay on computer, so that I can quickly see what happened during the day.In summary, I feel this is a great surveillance camera because it alerts you when unwanted visits are detected. But not so great for monitoring babysitters as replay takes long time, unless you want to monitor live.NOTE TO MANUFACTURER: I wish I could multi-select or "select all" of videos of the day, download, and view on computer for fast forward play.

I went with this device because it was one of the few security cams designed to work completely free of cords/cables in terms of (1) its power supply and (2) internet (WiFi) capabilities. I found many devices that were battery powered and even more that supported WiFi, but only a handful featured both. I’ve tried a few different home security cams and I think this is the best in terms of accomplishing its purpose as a hidden surveillance cam. It offers all the same features as the other cams - remote viewing, video playback, motion detection, 2-way speaker, night vision, HD quality, 128g storage, and more - but to me it was a lot easier to install in a way that optimized its full capabilities. With other cams I felt limited with where it could be installed because I had to consider factors pertaining to electrical outlet proximity, lens visibility, WiFi network range, and night vision light detection. The smoke alarm concept allows you to position the camera virtually anywhere for a wide viewing angle in plain sight without raising suspicion. I gave this 4 stars because the app is in need of some serious work. It took several attempts at setup due to the connection timing out, and the audio doesn’t always seem to work. Hopefully the developer will release an update with improvements to address these issues. Battery life is about as good as you’re going to get for a device like this. I use this mostly when I’m traveling for work to keep an eye on the care of my dogs and I’ve found it has enough power to sustain itself continuously for the week or so that I’m away.

I do you like the fact that it looks like a smoke detector and you cannot tell that it is a camera. The set up was relatively easy. Also as I say here later the video quality is good during the day with light. It is a good product for the price. It came very quickly within the same day as well. I gave it three stars for a couple of reasons. While during the day the video quality is good, at night it is very fuzzy. Another reason I gave it three stars was because I believe you’re supposed to be able to speak through it and I cannot get that figured out. I can hear what’s going on but I cannot speak through it. That would be nice to have. Also the final reason is that in order to see previous videos you have to buy your own SD card. That would’ve been nice to be included.

I purchased this product hoping that it will help keep my apartment secured. The product was decfective and did not work as anticipated as I was not able to connect with my wifi (and also attempted with 2.4). Reached out the seller and seller was helpful on multiple occassions; as well as responsive to my multiple inquiries. However, on my 4th or 5th inquiry I requested a replacement since I nor the seller was able to get the product working. Seller agreed however several weeks past and did not hear back. Reached out to the seller on update however the returned policy on amazon expired and seller said to check with Amazon. Seller stalled and waited until the return policy expired so they are no longer responsible. This is a complete scam so i suggest staying away.

I got this hidden camera detector several days ago and I installed it on the ceiling of my house. Following the instruction, I can see my daughter playing at home through the app. The real-time video will be delayed by about 1 second and the video will be saved on the SD card. Clearly, I would recommend this smoke detector camera to my friends!

The picture quality is not good, and it doesn’t even come with the Sim card for recording. It has actually stopped working altogether, super frustrated and wish I could have returned it.

Used two of these cameras in a theft case. Worked great. Motion detection keeps it charged for weeks. Highly recommended. Picture was good!

No instructions or charger nothing I had to look up the make and download app never connects at all! Its a chinese app that doesnt work at all
