Vertico - Rubber Shower Flip Flops | Quick Dry, Lightweight Protection Sandals

TL:DR I bought these shoes for my son going to college, he lived in a dorm with community bathrooms. He liked these shower shoes, they were comfortable, never slippery and dried very quickly. Yes, in a moment of MOM panic I bought my son shower shoes. Yes, he has flip flops and other options. Don't tell me you've never shopped your feelings before! Now we all know once you make a purchase with amazon you get a bunch of emails requesting reviews. I was having FEELINGS people! And I didn't like the reminder that my kid was leaving soon every time I saw an email. This was my response to the 425th review request. Y'all. Relax. I bought these for my kid going off to college. He hasn't worn them yet. Don't rush it! I'm not ready for him to wear these stupid shower shoes yet. I have 3 more weeks people!!! Then my firstborn leaves and goes 4 hours away from home to college and it's super exciting and sad all at the same time. I'm having all the feelings about it. Quit reminding me. I bought these shoes for locker room shower use and for the swimming pool in the summer. They fit well for the marked size, seem sturdily built, and dry quickly. They even have a little arch support, meaning extra comfort. Although I probably wouldn’t wear these for much more than shower or pool use, these flip flop sandals do seem like a good value. I’m happy with my purchase.

Update: just got my 3rd order - they run small; my size =9.5, ordered a 10 & too narrow & short (gave that pair away) - re ordered another pair, size 11, still a bit narrow but width will stretch a bit & the length is correct. I ordered my first pair more than a year ago, they’re a size 10 & I compared those to new ones & they’re the same size of todays size 11 that I just received. Very lightweight and fairly comfy. If you’re a half size, definitely order up. Mine are too short & not with my time to exchange They’re on the stiff side; a hard but lightweight rubber; more so than last time I ordered them. Ok for shower inside or outside, and to run outside to toss trash or get mail. Not enough arch for my liking; none really. But alot better than a pr of sox & great in summer time. Ya get whatcha pay for.

Decent cheap flip flops. They run about 1 size small. I wear 10.5 shoes and ordered these in size 11, but they are tight. I’d recommend these for cheap shower shoes, but go a size higher than you normally do.

Got these for the sauna, steamroom, showers, and pool at the gym. Pros -- extremely light weight. mega non-slip sole. comfy nubs that give your feet a little reflexology as you walk. very good sizing. (I wear a men's 9.5 and this sandal in a 10 fits great.) Cons -- kinda ugly in that Crocs sort of way. mega non-slip sole means that your foot will come out of the sandal rather than slipping on a wet surface -- better than falling on your bum, to be sure. Biggest drawback to these, though, is that the center post (between the big toe and 2nd toe) has that annoying seam that you may have encountered in cheap-o flip-flips from the old dark blue store. They're not so bad as to irritate the skin between your toes, but it does make them much less comfortable. These sandals are great for a few minutes at a time, but I wouldn't want to walk around in them outside of a wet zone. UPDATE: Almost two years later, and these things hold up like a champ! The annoying seam I mentioned above wore down long ago. I wear these in my gym's steamroom and showers almost everyday, and they are WAY better than cheapy flip flops.

I already had two pairs in a size 9, one blue and one black. I'm happy with the contoured insole, water-resistance, texture, and durability. However, I ordered another size 9 recently and it was about a half-inch shorter than my other two pairs. The blue one on the right in my photo shows the discrepancy next to my size-9 black ones, which I incidentally just noticed are a "42" on the bottom despite the fact that they were sold as a size 9. So maybe I received a Euro size by accident and the actual size 9's are too small for me, but the bottom line is that you don't really know what size you're getting and might have to return them. They appear to run a little small. UPDATE: I ordered another pair of the "size 9" black ones after returning the blue ones, and once again received a Euro size 42 with a "9" sticker covering the 42 printed on the bottom. However, I was happy because my other "size 9" black ones that are actually a 42 fit perfectly, but I wasn't happy for long because I found that the new ones were about 1/4" shorter than the exact same size and color that I already own. Ugh! I didn't have a 1/4" to spare and still be comfortable. I just want a true size 9 in an otherwise great sandal! FURTHER UPDATE: I ordered a size 10 pair in blue and they are STILL about a quarter-inch shorter than my black size 9's. Hey Vertico, welcome to onestarville, population you.

I had a bad case of athlete's foot and bought these to 'quarantine' my feet around the house while still letting them breathe. They don't absorb water, dry quickly, and are easy to clean and sanitize. They are molded in one piece including the strap, so no nooks or crannies for germs/fungus to hide. The parting line (the 'seam') from the molding process did stick out at first a little on the toe strap, but it didn't really bother me. They're pretty comfortable once they're broken in. Not much support, kinda feels like walking barefoot (which I like). I wouldn't wear them for a long walk, but they're great for around the house/pool/locker room.

Nice pair of chanclas. Bought specifically for showering at the gym and walking around locker room. Only complaint is they are a bit snug. I usually wear a 13, as you can see they fit; but barely. Lightweight, functional, and comfortable.
