The seal was broken, it smelled horrible, and I had to return it. The alcohol-free version of this brand/from this company works pretty well, though.

I read an article, written by a pharmicist, in our local newspaper, about use of Coptis chinensis for some conditions, and started using it a few weeks ago. (She said there are studies indicating its use for some Staph infections.) My condition seems to be improving, so, though there is no proof that this is a cure, I will keep using it. Buying the big bottle is more economical, and shipment was fast.
