My mom suffered from a stroke & it caused slurred speech. We began using these blocks because she has an uncontrollable jaw anytime she opens her mouth. Now that she has a placeholder for her jaw, she can focus on vocals and tongue movement & placement. Gonna take a while but the blocks make a huge difference!

I suppose as an SLP, I should know better. But my previous set did not do this! After one use they are smashed and full of bite marks!
