Well made and easy to install
This is a nice switch with decent installation instructions. I used it in a sort of complex multiway circuit situation and it did the trick quite nicely.

Great value, simple to use
For our whole-house switch replacement, I picked up some Eaton decorator switches whenever they were the best price. Installation was a breeze, and they function flawlessly. Good quality at a reasonable price — perfect for a large project like ours.

4-way switch than can be used in 3 light switch situations
This is very nice. I used it in a 3 switch configuration not 4 like the title of the switch says. You could probably even get it working as a 1-way or 2-way switch. I guess if you think about it, it is always a 2-way switch since one way the switch is "on" and the other way it is "off". It doesn't have 2 other ways besides on and off if that's what you where thinking, it's only on and off. 0 and 1, True and False, yin and yang. You get the picture, I hope. The quality is pretty good also. If you don't know how to use the internet or are dumb then you should probably get an electrician to install this for you. Although, I have met a few electricians who where dumb and didn't know how to use the internet so good luck.

Best 4-way I've found
I first got the Leviton "quiet" 4-way, which didn't work properly. This was a little more expensive but it actually does work. The feel of the switch when pressed is better than the Leviton and, as noted, it actually turns stuff off and on properly. There is an annoying gap on one side which knocked off a star since it looks a little unprofessional. This gap is between the toggle part and the border, not in relation to the wall plate so you can't fix it.

Good quality and almost half the price
Good quality 4 way switch and is almost half price compared to anything at homedepot or lowes. Keep an eye on the configuration of 2 brass and black screws which might be located differently compared to the one you are replacing (diagonal vs inline)

Easy swap
I have 3 switches controlling one light. Two were simple 3 way switches, but one needs to be a 4 way switch. This has the same arrangement of screws (all have two on each side, but some have one black on each side, while others do one on each), so it made things easier for me. I simply swapped one for another, and now all looks new and works the same.

Exactly as advertised.
What else can I say? Product is well made. It's perfect for the 2 high hats we have on the 2nd floor landing at the top of the stairs between the bedrooms and bathroom. There's one switch at the bottom of the stairs, another outside the master and this one finished the job outside the 2 guest bedrooms. I'm not an electrician, just a new homeowner... so I needed to switch out some old switches for new ones. This was extremely easy.

BE AWARE: This is NOT a normal switch (that's why some people are rating it poorly).
This switch gets poorly rated because it's easy to break if you think it's a normal switch. Normal switches allow for side installation via a termination under the screw. And pros prefer side wiring vastly over back wiring (aka "back stabbing"). So pros are baffled when they turn the screws and the screw doesn't come out. But what is happening is there is a sliding clamp that is compressing and decompressing for the backwiring component. When you loosen the screw, you have to allow gravity to let the clamp fall and open up for you to insert the wire in the back then you can tighten it. ** Again, the screw doesn't really move out from the switch when you turn it. This is incredibly counter-intuitive. ** The backwiring isn't a pressure lock friction system typical in backwiring, but more like a GFCI clamp based locking mechanism. Steps to install this switch: 1) Unscrew until the screw doesn't want to turn (the clamp is as open as it can be), 2) Flip the switch to let the clamp open up with gravity, 3) Backwire your wires (not on the sides under the screws) 4) Tighten screw to clamp it down. Great switch - but terribly counter-intuitive installation for lovers of side wiring.

Solid unit. Quality clamp-style wiring terminals. Works smoothly. About $10 less expensive than big box store units.

I don’t usually buy Eaton switches, but this 4-way is priced much better than other popular name brands. It feels very solid, has a nice appearance and a good feel. Gets the job done just fine at almost half the price. Eaton is a reputable electric brand, so I feel confident in the quality and safety as well.

At Home Depot and other suppliers, a Leviton 4way switch was over $35.00. This switch is just as good and a fraction of the cost. Nice and easy clamps to secure the wires too. Edit: Oct 4 2020 This switch seems to have magically turned into a 3 way. Had it connected exactly as the Leviton 4way and now it does not work. I put the slightly cracked original back in and all 3 switches work as they should.

These switches are great, I didn’t have any issues with them. The screws that the copper wire attaches to are loose, and the heads tend to lie flush with the housing. This means you need to tip the entire thing on its side to expose enough nut to attach the wire to. A bit tricky, but workable. If you’re new to replacing switches like I was, you will need ONE of these and TWO three-way switches to replace on the circuit. I mistakenly bought three of these, which is expensive and unnecessary.

As advertised. Good quality and function properly. Cost 50% less than local electrical suppliers, and most of them didn't stock these switches. Great deal.
