Numark DJ2GO2 Touch Compact DJ Controller

The Numark DJ2GO2 Touch is an excellent, compact USB controller. I can't speak about how useful it is as a "proper" DJ as I only ever use it for parties. However, for that, it's absolutely perfect. Loads of fun to use/practice with, with all the features you absolutely *need*. Used it with Serato Light, Mixxx, and Djay Pro and it's good with all. I suspect it'd work well with Ableton, but haven't tried it yet. If I were picking one, I'd say I prefer either Djay Pro (if you need to stream) or Mixxx (if you don't). Both do automatic volume alignment, so you can map the "Level" knob on either deck to Filter and use it for some basic EQing. Nothing crazy, but it does allow you to be a little more versatile. I'd map the "auto" loop triggers to do manual loop in-out / autoloop 1 bar / autoloop 2 bars / autoloop 4 bars, which frees up 4 extra buttons per deck with no real loss of function (for me anyway - my ). Anyway - that's my suggestion. Great controller regardless of what you use it with, but I'd suggest you try out a few bits of software and find what works for you rather than just sticking to Serato Light.

I bought this to replace my old controller which was stolen (Numark Mixtrack Pro 3) and because I have stopped DJing now and just host pub quizzes for which I need to play music intros, cue clips and use the odd sample, so, pretty basic stuff. After watching loads of videos this is exactly as I expected and does everything I need except for one huge ommision, there is no Mic support! This is admittedly my own fault for not spotting it and it's not really a big deal as I can Mic straight into a mixer but I should really have thought of that first. Still giving the product 5 well deserved stars because it does everything it claims to really well and was up and running with my Virtual DJ Pro account in seconds.

I bought this item is because they are easy to play around and the main output for the dj controller is ok. However, the headphone output it’s not working the quality in total they are ok I’ll just say for me is 50 / 50. Although I tired on plugging into my laptop and using the software of Serato DJ pro I’m having a problem with the audio input and output my main suggestion is buy a bigger dj controller.

Perfect for a portable option that links with Serato lite , very easy to use so beginners will love it. But genuinely decent to mix with considering how compact it is.

This review is being written by a wedding DJ. I bought this to use as a back up for my main DJ decks and to play the odd (good) song request that I haven't got via streaming. I love how compact this is. My previous DJ2GO developed a horrible sound after it was plugged in for more than 15 mins so just put it down to age. However, this replacement has developed exactly the same issue after one month. Bear in mind I use it for the odd song once or twice a week and keep it in a tough case, this is unacceptable. The noise issues are exactly the same as the previous model. Fine when first connected but after being connected for around 15 - 30 minutes. I have tried different laptops and also just tried it connected to my home studio speakers and got exactly the same issue. It's a real shame as the compactness and features for the price are great but the soundcard lets it down big time and I won't be buying another one. Now I've reverted to using a DDJ400 as back up with no issues.

Bought this for my daughter as she is really keen to learn all this stuff. Read many reviews to check it was compatible with the Ipad, which it was however must stress the software to make it compatible to the Ipad has cost me £50 a year subscription :( plus to get music I have to pay for another subscription as not compatible with Spotify or Apple Music. Another thing to note is the headphones that are recommended to purchase along with this, aren’t compatible to the device - my daughter opened it all and now i’m stuck with headphones that aren’t compatible with anything.

This little unit was a great purchase for my use case as i needed something small that fit on my laptop I bought this + a case for when I'm on the road and i need to prepare tracks. Has 4 cue points and touch sensitive jog wheels and i can easily add and remove cue points while in the car I have tried to DJ on this but it does not suit my style of blend mixing well due to lacking EQ nobs but can be remapped in software, it is more so suited to scratch mixing and chopping in that regard so beware I mix and cue with the same wireless headphones and stream my master output on a line out in obs I rout master volume through the controllers sound card and the headphone cue audio through my headphones so i dont have to deal with any extra cords

The thing is amazing but after the like 4 use the left wheel no longer scratches it only dose the beat matching

this is a good product I would recommend buying this to anyone good durability
