I purchased these bottles for syrups, infusions, and general storage because they’re see-through compared to the 16 oz amber bottles I have. Additionally, these hold 8.5 oz, which is perfect for optimally storing appropriate quantities of the aforementioned syrups and such. The bottles are sturdy, much like traditional amber bottles and also have somewhat of a rectangular shape to them, making them easy to store and shelve. I’ve noticed that my bottles, along with those of others that have written reviews, have difficulty evaporating all of their water when cleaned in the dishwasher. I simply removed their caps, stuck them in the oven (at 170 F) for 10-15 minutes, which worked perfectly - all the precipitation was removed and the glass is clear. Overall, these are nice bottles that are worth the investment if you plan on storing ~8 oz quantities of various liquids.

I ordered these swing tops for the purpose of carbonating kombucha. They are really the perfect vessel for this use as they have a tight seal and are made to withstand pressure. I’ve been utilizing them for over a year now and never had a single explosion.

I am very happy with these and they are really good quality, I plan on using them to make my own water kefir. the seals are good and tight, the only issue with them that I had was that one of the bottles had broken during the shipping process. I called customer service and the girl I talked to was very helpful and gave me a 1/6 of the price refund, I do only have 5 to use but couldn't be happier with my experience.

Used these to make homemade vanilla for the family this year. They are great bottles and everything seems to function and have held up great!

I wasn't expecting a whole lot from these flip-tops considering how inexpensive they are but they are pretty solid for cheap bottles. They have a decent seal and look exactly as advertised. Only warning I can give is to not use them for fermenting carbonated beverages. I used these for the flavoring and carbonating stage of my home-brewed kombucha and when I went to let out some of the built-up CO2 the cap and metal piece completely shot off, luckily I wasn't injured, but do at your own risk. Although, I am accepting some responsibility for this. It's my first time homebrewing so I may have put in too much fruit (fruit=CO2) and left little extra room.

Got these to make my own vanilla extract it is a process and I want to give to family and friends as gifts

I wanted to try and make my own vanilla to give as gifts for the holidays. These reusable bottles are a perfect size for homemade vanilla. They are tall enough for whole vanilla beans and also fit easily into your pantry.

These glass bottles were great for making my own vanilla extract. You can’t wash them in the dishwasher because the metal will rust/get weird. But if you have a good bottle brush, they’re great! They’re the perfect size for vanilla extract or making your own bbq sauce. The size is a great storage size or size for gift giving!

Without exception every bottle was not water tight. Messed up the Kombucha that needed to be refrigerated in airtight bottles. VERY disappointed with the quality of the bottles. Too late to return them now.

Good bottles. Happy to have them. Very surprised they weren’t smashed or chipped. Six bottles laying together in a plastic bag and some light plastic padding in the box. The box was partly crushed. Each bottle needed to have plastic padding around it.

These bottles are 240ml (for the Aussies!) and make a great gift of homemade Vanilla Essence for friends & family at Christmas time. I'm just about to order another lot, because there is none left for me!
