ILEDGear Rapid Softbox Diffuser Kit for 500/576 LED Light Panel

Surprisingly well done. Fits onto barn doors. Only trick was to make sure the band that wraps the barn doors was rotated correctly, then attach the front diffuser. Does the job. Very compact for travel. Made as good as any of my many other large soft-boxes. Using this on theePhotoInc 500 LED Light Panels.

Using it with an Aputure LS-1 Panel. The fit isn't the greatest, but I can't complain too much because it increases the size of the light source significantly, and doesn't bleed nearly as much as it looks like it should. It is semi permanently mounted as a fill at my workstation. Worth every penny and then some. I can't really do a 5 because of the general fit. If I had to take it down and redo it very often, it would be a little annoying. I created an inner diffusion panel (using 1 stop diffusion material purchased on amazon) for a dual diffusion softbox with grid setup. Very soft.

I think the ad for this product was a little misleading in terms of what light(s) it fit. WAY too big for my YN600 YONGNUO light, and no "proper" way to attach it without turning to something like duct tape. Not even rubber bands worked. Didn't try, but I don't suspect attaching velcro to this diffuser, and to the light, would have done the trick.

Does not fit some rectangular 500's like the ePhotoinc LEDs shown in the "frequently purchased together". These may fit the brands listed in the description but they don't fit this popular model at all. Unusable so I'm having to return.

If you use the AA battery option, the batteries will flop around and not sit in there correctly and make connection. So you have to fiddle with the battery placement until you can get it to work. Other than that, it does work great when you can get it working.

Fantastic way to both broaden light output from LED panels as well as refine illumination direction using the eggcrate. I purchased six and am amazed how easily they expand for use and fold compactly for storage.

Does what it says it does, fits a little lose but I imagine some Velcro would be a good investment. Does cut the amount of light down by about half, so don't expect to have the same intensity from your light as without it.

It does not seem to fit. I bought this for the Dracast 500. I put the diffuser on the side flag, and it seems closer to the shape it needs to be. I can't find a way to attach this soft box to the light fixture. No instructions provided.
