Feline Soft Claw Nail Caps, Large, Blue Sparkle

Claw caps are great to keep the cats from doing quite as much damage to the furniture, each other, and especially my lap when they jump off in a hurry.Sometimes they stay on for over a month, sometimes they fall off in a few days. Sometimes the cats don't struggle at all when I'm putting them on, and even stay purring in my lap afterwards. Sometimes they squirm so much that I need a second person to hold them. (I've been trimming their claws regularly since they were kittens, but even so, sometimes they'd just rather be somewhere else.) Sometimes they don't care at all after I've put them on, sometimes they are so desperate to get them off right away that I need a cone of shame to keep them from chewing.I choose the blue sparkle color because it's nice having transparent nail caps so that I can see how much glue I'm putting in, but it's harder to tell when the completely clear ones have fallen off, and even harder to find them in the carpet. Tried the opaque red once, everyone's first reaction to it was that the cats had hurt their paws and were bleeding. Some transparent colored caps would be great, but I have only seen the colorless clear and glitter ones.The glue applicators are really hard to squeeze. Sometimes I think they're clogged, but it's just that the plastic they're made out of isn't very flexible. Rather than bruising my fingers trying to get glue out, I've taken to using pliers to squeeze instead. I prep about 10 claws, then find a cat and put them all on, then prep another 10. When you get glue on your fingers (which you will) it comes off easy with acetone nail polish remover just like any super glue.My cats weigh about 10 pounds, but I found that the medium sized claws were too small for most of their larger claws. I think that weight estimate may be based on the more common overweight cat, while our cats have their diet closely monitored to keep them at a more healthy weight for their size. Either that or they've just got very large paws for their size. But not all claws are the same size! I still keep the medium size on hand for the dewclaws (in gold to tell them apart from the blue ones), since they're quite a bit smaller.

My cat was a pain but a cat used to it’s feet being handled would do fine. Make sure the claws are trimmed in advance. They stick great and stay on for weeks

Very disappointed.. I am scratched all over my hands and legs. 1 applied and my cat freaked out and would not let put anymore on without a battle. No way will I put my cat or myself thru that ever again.

Glue is not as good as the brand that is sold at Petsmart. (Whisker City) These caps seemed to be more easily chewed off.

Very festive look--don't know how the cat feels about them, though.
