Kettler Flipper Child Bike Seat, Blue

Functions as it should, I am extremely handy and it was a little difficult to assemble. The directions are pretty much useless, the pics are very hard to decipher and it's all in German. Last I checked this was MERICA!

Grandson is 39# and 4 years old so there is a limited number of seats safe and suitable. It fit nicely on my daughters Giant, just clearing seat springs and rear brake. Brake cable fit perfectly through the mount slot ( granddaughters Schwinn with brake cable routing to the side would not have worked). The post has a single spring loaded retention pin, two would have been nicer since the pinless post can move 1/4" when child on seat and bike not perfectly vertical. Rear flasher light that was on the bike continued functionality with sufficient room in seat saddle.Occupant was very secure with harness and adjustable foot rest. There is no chance for the curious to get hands or feet in moving parts. Occupant visibility is superior to other seats I have seen and the pedaler vision is unhampered. Since occupying the seat makes makes the bike top heavy, side stand is useless and a secure wall rest is required to put occupant in seat unless you have circus quality balance
