GingkoDesign Connectivity: Bluetooth 4.0 Technology, Audio In jack (3.5 mm stereo)

Lovely product and a great design but the Bluetooth isn’t great leading to a poor music delivery. It’s smaller than expected, it’s portable and keeps its charge well but fundamentally buying this product to listen to music and podcasts: it doesn’t deliver a satisfactory connection.

It's really pretty and the sound quality is pretty good.... But.... The Bluetooth functionality is poor. We bought this for our kitchen to replace a dying Alexa and expected to be able to connect easily from multiple phones, however, the only way for anyone else to connect their phone once a phone is already connected, is for the first connected phone to manually disconnect and turn off their Bluetooth. This is far too faffy and in a house with 4 people that may want to connect at any time, makes the speaker pretty useless 😔. Gutted because I loved everything else about it

Sounds good and looks good

The description prior to ordering stated that it was 'walnut' finish, the images were also of only the walnut finish speaker. However, the delivery received was the 'white' speaker, really disappointing!!I set the speaker up on my desk, just to see if I could live with the white speaker, the other disappointment was that the box seemed as though perhaps it wasn't the first time it had been opened and the volume buttons to the rear wouldn't work properly, pressing the volume 'up' would sometimes turn the volume down. The operation seemed very poor, I'm hoping the issue was just with that particular speaker. I'm going to try ordering the walnut version from else where.
