Brer Rabbit Unsulphured Molasses, Full Flavor, 12 Ounce

I’ve been using this molasses mostly for my bran muffin recipes, and it’s exactly what I was looking for.... I never tried this brand but a friend recommended me this one, and I'm very happy with the outcome. I tasted it on its own and it is powerful and very tasty. The flavor is deep and rich, but not too bitter or overpowering. It actually blends really well into batters and gives that classic taste I remember from homemade baked goods growing up 🤤,... The consistency is pretty thick but easy enough to work with, and I like that it’s unsulphured. Honestly the only ones that work for these recipes are the unsulfured ones, because if not the bran muffins don't come out as good. That matters to me when choosing ingredients for regular baking. I’ve also tried adding a spoonful to other recipes that call for a little natural sweetness and depth, like certain marinades or even a touch in oatmeal. Overall, it’s a great quality molasses with no strange aftertaste or chemical notes. Just smooth, dark, full flavor. I’ll definitely be keeping a bottle of this in my pantry at all times, I prefer this brand and I'm glad I found it.

Wonderful molasses. I've been using it for years. I find that it's no longer available in grocery stores so I've only been able to find it on Amazon. I was so glad to see that it's not a discontinued product. It's my "go to" molasses for making Molasses crumb cake which needs the full flavor.

Hot buttered bisquits with the same molasses I had 60 years ago...none better. Enhances BBQ sauce and baked beans too.

The Brer Rabbit arrived safely in a container by himself; though I had placed an order for a number of products. It is of great quality. This is my second purchase of the product. It arrived just in time for a recipe I was making that day; a loaf of Rye Bread. Check photo! I am not really a connoisseur of fine molasses; but it must be of the finest variety judging from the price.

Multiple purchases of this product and I'm always happy with it! It is a dark molasses so you don't use as much as a lighter one. Highly recommend !
