Plug and Play and PLAY!
A-TECH memory has become a solid standard in memory products, and for very good reasons. I remember calling and driving all over Phoenix in the old days, looking for someplace that has this brand in stock. Thankfully, I don't have to do that anymore. I've never had an A-TECH memory module go bad, and I can't say that about any of the other brands. I was upgrading an old system to give my youngest child as her first computer. I bought the module, plugged it in, it was immediately recognized and working perfectly. Not times were cut down by 3/4, and Windows screens suddenly had instantaneous behavior.

Perfec for Upgrading the Memory of my Vintage HP Pavilion DV2 Laptop
The media could not be loaded. Bought this Module to Upgrade the Memory of my Vintage HP Pavilion DV2-1010LA (Single RAM Slot) before Forcing Windows 11 Pro on it (Single Core 1.6 GHz AMD Athlon Neo MV-40 Processor) and It worked perfectly at it maximum 800 MHz frequency. I finished my ME BSc with that device, a gift from my Dad (RIP), so It deserves all upgrades it can take. I even got a way to install an M.2 SSD using its WWAN Slot B-) (the one next to the Memory Slot).

Work Great For Toshiba L355-S7095 and L355-S7915
A bit pricy but A- tech has yet to fail me.Originally the Toshibas above were only spec'd out to run 4GB ram memory. But if you have a 64 bit OS like Linux or WIndows XP/7/8/10 and also have a 64 bit processor you can put 8 GB (2 x 4GB) of ram into these machines.Upgrade the processor (800 MHZ FSB max with the GL40 chipset) with something like an Intel T9500 core 2 duo or lower, switch to an SSD drive, and upgrade the wireless card with an Intel AC 7260 and you have a real screamer of a laptop for a media server or a simply way to surf the web at over 800 mbs/sec. (if your router and ISP are up to the job). These laptops were made in 2009 and still handle windows well with the upgrades. It might not be great for more modern games that require high end graphics cards/chips but it can definitely go retro without a hitch.Currently I am running windows 8.1 64-bit and the system is a real screamer. Perfect for a budget rebuild. I max out my ISP transfer rates at 200 mb/s. These upgrades are perfect for a child's first computer.

A-Tech - 8GB PC2-6400 Laptop Memory
I order the 8GB DDR2 PC2-6400 laptop memory for my ten year old laptop. I originally custom build the particular HP HDX for media entertainment and it never gave me any problems. I wanted to upgraded from 4GB to 8GB and decided to order the memory from A-Tech. The 8GB that arrived didn't work at all. Tested all the memory slots and the original memory worked fine. I call the their tech support and they covered everything I've already done to even ask me if I'm using a 64bit OS (had to laugh at that one). They gave me an option to send another set of memory or refund. I've already dealt with them before and their memory didn't give me any problems back then so why not. The second set of 8GB of memory worked perfectly. The computer rebooted and recognized the memory and now I'm a happy camper. They must have send me a bad batch of memory initially. There tech support guy was great and knowledgeable. I will continue to buy their products until their quality become substandard.

Installed into an old Sony Vaio, works perfectly.
Bought this to increase the RAM available on an old Sony Vaio from 4GB to 8GB. Definitely seems faster than the old RAM that was inside - made the computer more responsive. If you pair this with an SSD upgrade, one could turn an old computer into a decent web surfing machine.
