Pretty Dang Happy!
First off, let's deal with the elephant in the room - this bag is tiny. I mean, almost comically tiny. I'm about 6'1" and 220 lbs, and this is almost like a clown accoutrement. However, that being said, it's just about right for what I needed. I wanted something for my bugout bag that wasn't 10 times too big. Now, my bugout bag doesn't have to last me three days in the mountains of Afghanistan, or conceal an M4 Carbine and 20 magazines of ammunition - it's just a few basic essentials that I might need if I ever found myself in a situation where I was on my own to get somewhere safe. It's kind of a Micro-BOB, if you will. And for that, this bag is perfect. I was a little worried what I was going to get for the price. I've got some Maxpedition and 5.11 products, and I have to say, they may cost 5 times what this bag did, but they're in no way 5 times better. This is an impressive little pack for the twenty bux it cost me. It seems heavy duty, well made, with good stitching and a lot of nice pockets and pouches. Zippers work smoothly, and there's plenty of adjustability in the straps. No, it's probably never going to have a military NSN number, and you won't see U.S. Navy SEALS carrying this on covert ops, but it's a well made pack with a lot of useful potential. I'll certainly be looking at Red Rock's products again in the future. After putting things together, here's a list of everything that's crammed into this versatile little pack: Sawyer soft-pack first aid kit Buck 5-1/2" fixed-blade knife 50 ft of paracord Gerber folding saw Pair of Mechanix Fast-Fit gloves Chemical Light-Stick Pair of Bandage Scissors Bic Lighter 3 Esbit solid fuel cubes Potable Aqua water purifier tablets, with a bottle of neutralizer 2 LightLoad compressed towels Silva compass Whistle Leatherman "Crunch" tool Small tube of sunscreen Small can of DEET insect repellent Starflash signal mirror Small roll of Gorilla duct tape 1/2 roll of toilet paper, mashed flat Small knife sharpener Rite-in-the-Rain pen Mylar emergency sleeping bag Cotton bandanna 1-liter bottle of Dasani water LED Flashlight 2 pr Vinyl gloves And yes, all that fit in this little pack! It's "packed" - but it fit!

Perfect for me!
So I purchased this bag to use as an EDC (Every Day Carry) I work as an EMT and it just isn't practical to carry a purse to work. That is just asking for it to get stolen! Not only that but there just isn't much room to stow a lot of personal belongings in the front cabin. This bag is the perfect size for what I need, granted I will say I wouldn't mind if it was a tad bit bigger. But that may be the estrogen talking. If you are wondering exactly how big this bag is, it's about as tall and wide as a sheet of printer paper. ( check out the pics i loaded as a reference) So that means you should have NO ISSUE fitting an iPad with a case inside this pack. It has: 2- Zippered compartments on the front. (The bottom zippered compartment also has a small zippered pouch for smaller items.) 1- Zippered pouch located on the inside of the main compartment, towards the top 2- Interior pouches ( 1- on the anterior side and 1- on the posterior side of the main compartment.) 1- Exterior concealed carry pouch (located on the posterior side of the bag) The pack has plenty of MOLLE on the front and sides of the pack. I personally like to use some of the side MOLLE to attach some hair clips to. (again the estrogen talking ;) But works great! The possibilities for this pack are endless! With a little creativity you can do quite a bit with this small little guy. While it does not have MOLLE on the bottom of the pack, Ill bet with a little creativity you could string some paracord through and secure say a light jacket for a day hike! Anyways, If you are looking for a SMALL tactical pack, this little guy may just be the one for you! I will be getting a second one in black for my brother to use when he goes out riding his "crotch rocket". The quality should do, it isn't perfect but for the money, I don't think you can beat this pack! Update: So I have had this pack now for a little over a year. For the most part, it has held up! Some of the molle on the shoulder sling has come off. I would use those loops to attach my keys too, so realistically, the molle in that area did not prove to be very durable. However, everything else has stood the test of my abuse. I literally just throw the thing into the truck behind the seat and yank it out when I need it. So I'd say it has done pretty well, considering. I've looked at other small packs, and just haven't been convinced to buy any other ones yet. This one works just fine for what I need. Hope it does the same for you! :-D 2020 UPDATE: SOOOO ... it’s been 6 years and my trusty little pack FINALLY needs to be replaced. (*sigh*) I look back fondly though, chuckling to myself at how the majority of the time that little pack was stuffed full of snacks I pocketed from various hospitals LOL ... Anyways, 6 YEARS is a pretty long time and for the price ... I give this pack 5 stars! I added a few more pictures, showing the damage it sustained over the years. I was NOT gentle with it. I yanked that thing from behind the back of the seat probably a million times. I’m NOT saying it’s indestructible but I felt it held up pretty dang good for the $25 I spent on it.

Good EDC bag
Excellent little EDC pack. The size is perfect for a day's needs, plus you have the option of expansion with MOLLE pouches, etc. a versatile assortment of pockets, with a good-sized main one, and several small ones (zippered & not). I believe it's a knockoff or very similar to a much more expensive pack; I do not regret getting this cheaper one. I like the buckle in the shoulder strap for ease of ingress/egress, as in order to have the bag sit right against my back I need it cinched tighter than what is comfortable to slip over my head (YRMV). The grab handle on top makes it convenient to pick up as well as hold while it's unbuckled. The semi-secret pocket along the rear of the pack, behind the back padding, is a nice touch for conceal & carry. This deep sleeve has a snap on a strap at the top of the opening, with a plastic "D-loop" attached to it to give purchase for a rapid disengagement of said snap to access your firearm. There is a panel of "loop-side" hook & loop material inside of it for attaching a soft holster w/matching "hooks." It fully conceals my double stack Taurus Millennium G2 9mm no problem, and while wearing the pack, the pocket is entirely hidden up against the wearer's back. You need only to swivel the pack to your front side for easy (tho RHO) access to your firearm. I haven't tested this theory, but if you stuff the pack overfull, the firearm could possibly "print" from the sides as the pack bulges away from your back. My biggest gripe is the "tablet/book" sleeve inside the main pocket. It will hold my iPad (even in it's thin case), so the size is not a concern. However, the elastic keeper strap at the top of this sleeve uses the worst hook & loop material I have ever seen in my life. The loop side started fraying and "poofing" after only a couple uses, and the hooks hardly catch & hold onto the loops. Also, I'd prefer the hooks on the elastic strap & not the face of the sleeve, so that if I have it undone (or when it comes undone, because it will), the hooks aren't catching on whatever else I have in the main pocket. Minor secondary gripe: not all of the MOLLE loops are sewn on evenly. This may pose a problem if they don't fit an attachment because of it, but I haven't tried as I don't need to make this bag any bigger. Minor terciary gripe: the auxiliary "stabilizer" strap that buckles into the main shoulder strap at the wearer's chest dangles awkwardly down from the pack if not engaged. I usually don't use it & so tuck it into the MOLLE webbing, but it'd be nice to have another, mating buckle on the side of the pack just to clip the strap to when not in use. Another $5 on the purchase price, invested into materials & QC, would IMO make this a perfect pack. As-is, it's not perfect, but very good for the money.

A Fantastic EDC bag!
Very well built and high quality bag. The material that it is made from is 600 denier nylon fabric, it feels very thick and durable. The zipper pulls are made from paracord, which is nice because it just shows another aspect of the quality construction. There are a lot of pockets for whatever you might carry in you're EDC load out, which is what I bought it for. The main compartment is big enough for any tablet or book(both if you want) that you might want to carry. There are also several light weight nylon pockets with Velcro closures that help with organization in the main compartment. The outside medium sized pocket holds small items, and has sewn in elastic loops on both sides of the pocket, to hold items so that it stays organized. I keep two Glock 27 magazines with the Pierce +2 extensions and two Glock 23 magazines (which fit in my G27), and they fit really well in one side on the pocket with plenty of room left over for other things. The outside small pocket is mainly open, with a small inner pocket, I use this to store my wallet for quick access. The sides and back is completely covered in molle webbing so that you can attach any accessory pouch or any other item that you may need to carry in you're travels. In fact, you could completely fill this bag with gear to capacity, and it would not feel heavy or uncomfortable. This is because the the padded part of the strap is so wide, some might even consider overkill. The back of the bag has a really nice open top pocket that has a snap closure, that completely conceals my Glock 27, or my S&W J-Frame very nicely. The only design complaint that I have, in my opinion, is that the padded part of the shoulder strap that sits on your chest, is a little too wide. It's just issues with how it fits me, the bag is not to blame. I have to pull the strap more away from my face, or my chin keeps hitting the edge. Overall, this is a great sling pack that is well worth three times the selling price here on Amazon. I would recommend this to anybody.

This sling pack was perfect fit and is far more stable
I got this bag to use while riding my electric fat bike. Backpacks are too wobbly and panniers on the bike can't be taken with you with ease while parked. This sling pack was perfect fit and is far more stable. I use it to carry my Osmo Mobile & gopro equipment or any other items depending on the task/day. Overall great bag in a great size. Pros: Quality is above average. I haven't had any rips or tears with mine and it's holding up very well. I shot it with a few coats of water repellent. Good use of sectioned storage space. I like how there are sub-pocket spaces that allow for better organization. Easy to adjust/use. I like how I can swing the pack over my chest to access the contents of the bag without removing the back from my body Hidden space behind bag. I typically carry my XD40 Sub Compact in this bag/area for quick & easy access. Otherwise it stays empty but it's a great spot for additional storage. Loops. I like the overall areas to secure more contents onto the bag. Gives good options for those odd items like carabiners or multi-tool knife sleeves. Staps. The main strap is comfortable & padded. The side securing strap (doesn't need to be used but helps greatly reduce sway) could be a bit nicer or more appealing. The main focus here tho is the pressure on your body and for that I have to give a thumbs up to the primary shoulder strap for being padded and well designed. I don't feel the side strap and I use it often so I think it's more cosmetic than anything. Both straps are VERY quick & easy to attach/detach Cons: I don't think I have any. Everything functions very well and I haven't had issues/problems with my bag unlike others. Sure there COULD be improvements here and there but overall for $25 shipped - It's a great value.

Great bag doesn't even cover it...
I have sadly been acquiring random satchels/sling packs over the last 10 years... Various brands and slightly varying styles. This is by far the best one yet. I will admit I was a little concerned about the large plastic side release buckle, because it's quite honestly the only thing in the picture of the OD version that looked cheap... Boy was I wrong. I quickly reminded myself when I opened the packaging that this epic pack wasn't going to be used to hold anything more than a single days worth of gear for casual hikes, scouting or as a grab n' go light weight pack for short road trips. If the military look is what your looking for and are a student, this could be _the_ pack for your entire stint through school. No joke, this pack is robust. Fully ambidextrous, which for me as a Lefty, this was a huge turn on and one of my biggest complaints with previous purchases. The shoulder strap is comfortable and adjustable. The Handle is strong enough and the general stitching is top notch that if I filled this bag full of bricks and started swingin', I wouldn't have anything to worry about. ;) So don't worry about the weight with this bad boy. If you can fit it inside and the zippers close, your golden. The cross body security strap is adjustable and keeps this pack snug to the body as your traversing obstacles, generally in motion and even felt secure enough under a light jog without feeling out of control or losing anything. Even under a stressed run, the pack shifted ever so slightly, but was still secure and comfortable. Drain holes are a bonus and actually well done. Located in both main compartments. There are seriously all bases covered on this pack when you sit and seriously consider all the thought that went into each elastic strap, molle points, the blind zippers, key ring strap, etc. Total empty weight is 1.5lbs (680g) *** As awesome as it is, there are 2 flaws with this pack though. Both of which are unable to be seen in the advertising pictures. The first one is the choice of plastic clips that is attached to the end of the shoulder strap, which clips to the lower D-rings on either side of the pack. The hinged design is completely unnecessary and only introduces another failure point in the design. Even though it is the same heavy duty injection molded plastic as the D-rings & side release buckles, the single point clip design and sewn strap provides enough flexibility. The swivel design is failure point enough. Secondly, at the very bottom of the pack, where the edge piping is stitched all the way around the pack, where the two ends meet, is the ONLY place on this entire pack that is stitched horribly. As your looking and feeling the pack in your hands... Epppiiicccc, and then, s*** the bed... Really? Your going to finish the stitching on these beautiful and durable packs as if a 5 year old operating a sewing machine for the first time wrapped it up?! However, even with its flaws, I absolutely love this pack. If the applications I've listed above are right up your ally, this is the pack for you. Huh? What? 20 USD?????? Inconceivable... You couldn't even buy the plastic components and zippers for that price, let alone the rest of the material, let alone this quality assembled sling pack. Oh wait, you can. ;)

Surprised by the great quality in this bag! Perfect as an EDC for a busy mom
This bag far exceeded my expectations! As a busy homeschooling mom constantly on the go, I wanted a durable bag that could take a beating, fit all necessities, not take up a lot of room, as well as make concealed carry easy & safe when I chose not to wear my gun on person. I personally do not care for the 'stylish' handbags/purses on the market that are designed for women's concealed carry, nor do I care for the prices... They tend to scream "I have a gun!" or look like an over-bedazzled cowgirl. I'm also concerned about the risk of losing my firearm in the event my purse gets stolen if over just one shoulder (we live in Vegas, it happens a lot) or when I have to set it down momentarily (which happens when juggling kids). My husband suggested a tactical bag that would be easy on/off over the shoulder & crossbody. After reviewing multiple bags, I decided on this Red Rock sling pack, due to the height, hoping it would fit an iPad. This little bag fits way more than I anticipated it to! The pockets just keep on going/expanding, making it easy to fit everything my other tote/purse did, plus room for more. It easily fits our iPad with Otterbox case, my thick large wallet, books, notepad, sunglasses case, etc... I love how padded the outer layer of the concealed pistol pocket is, so I don't feel the outline of my gun against my back. I have yet to receive the holster insert that velcros to the inside of the pocket, so I am using my Ramora holster for now. The gun still fits with room to spare, doesn't stick out of the top. For reference, I carry a smaller 9mm, Kahr Arms CM9 (see photos for size). So far, using this bag for EDC has been quite comfortable. It's easy on/off crossbody, easy to access the pockets without taking it off, does not take up a lot of room in the car, disperses weight perfectly and feels much lighter than my other shoulder bag did carrying all the same items. I chose the Dark Earth color, as I wanted something more on the brown side, not yellowish or greenish as some of the other colors seemed to be. I think the color is perfect, and I plan on ordering another in black. If you are deciding between bags, you will not be disappointed with this choice! Great quality, great price!

Great small pack, UNSAFE concealed carry.
I got this as a work bag since I have to carry a company iPad home with me. I figured it'd be good for that plus a lunch, sunglasses, windbreaker, etc., as well as to use as a concealed carry pack on the weekends. Well, the second part is a no-go. The good: it's well made, especially for the price. It has a ridiculous number of compartments, with compartments in those compartments. My iPad with an Otterbox case fits in the designated pocket with a velcro strap to secure it. Note: the pack is barely larger than the dimensions of an iPad. It fits like a glove. The top outside pouch is just big enough to hold my supermarket glass case. Some of the pouches have MOLLE inside them, which is weird to me, especially in the small pouches, but whatever. It's comfortable, padding and ventilation on the back and a padded strap, lots of adjustability. Waterproof material on the inside of the pouches and quality zippers. With a coat of camp dry I'm sure it would survive time in the rain with no issues. Less than good: The gorilla in the room is the "concealed carry" feature. It's poorly implemented. The biggest issue is the concealment, at least for me. I'm a slim guy and with a tee shirt on you can clearly see that there is a gun in my bag from a mile away. It's an open-top elastic mesh pouch so you can see everything. I mentioned earlier the small dimensions of the bag. My EDC is a Glock 19, not a large gun, but It pokes out over the top and is otherwise visible through the mesh. I'll try to follow up with photos. It's not only obvious but could easily be grabbed from behind by any passer-by. I'd be scared to death to carry in this. Maybe if you have a G23 or an LCP or some other extra compact it would be ok but not for anything close to full frame. Less concerning, but of note, is the ergonomics. If you are wearing this bag normally, I.e. not sagging it, you need to be able to contort your arm to get up to mid back level and over the top of the elastic band. It's certainly not conducive to quick draws. Also, they put velcro loop material in the pouch over the entirety of the back but they should have also included a velcro strap that you could use to position your gun at an accessible angle and secure it a bit. As it is it's just swimming around in there. Smaller weapons especially could end up slipping into any given orientation, ruining your ability to draw or even reach it. Conclusion: Not sure if I will be keeping this in favor of a more generic tablet pack. Good construction and functionality are big pros but if half the reason I wanted it is moot I will have to reexamine my options.

Good buy
I bought this as a sissy bar bag for my motorcycle, haven’t used it much yet but it seems durable. Lots of straps for mounting and big enough for a couple water bottles, spare glasses, ear plugs, and a sweatshirt for the cold days.

Excelente calidad
