ESSCROSSBOW 2 x Two Fully Assembled EyeShields - 1 with clear lens and 1 with smoke grey lens, hard case, and microfiber pouch 740-0386

I have been spoiled with 3-4 pairs of Oakley sunglasses over the years but always hurt paying that much for a good pair of glass. I've also been sold on having polarized on my lenses, which again cost more green. I've seen some positive reviews on these and ended up giving them a try. WOW! Very nice coverage and fit, as good or better about coverage around top of eye brows and around the periphery of the field of view vs my various oakley lenses. I didn't get polarized (I believe they make a replacement lense that is polarized) and have been incredibly impressed with overall quality and clarity of the glass lense. I've worn them for hunting, shooting sports, driving, running, and even concrete demolition. They have picked up a single big nick on the left eye piece from a speeding piece of concrete while wielding a 15lb sledge. It obviously stopped the debris and kept my eyes in good shape. I've continued to wear them for 3-4 months now and don't notice the nick, still great glass.The interior lense coating to make them fog resistant is incredible when it's fresh. Those familiar with that coating know it's a pain to clean when dirty. I wet them down and wipe while wet and this gets the debris off, when it dries that coating still seems there. Over time doing this they have started to fog up when wearing a stocking cap near the eye brow area, to be expected, but still easily clears up with a few seconds ventilation.In an extreme situation I ran outside for about 12 miles in 20 degree temps with 20mph wind, again with stocking cap and an underarmor balaclava. At about mile 8 it started to really fog up and then freeze and about mile 10 I had to remove them and wipe them off. They worked okay the last mile or two. I expect if the coating were less worn they'd of done better, but those conditions are really pushing it for "general use."Lastly, I've used the clear lense for shooting sports, great clarity, HOWEVER, the ear piece isn't super flat, and when wearing muffs for shooting, it does cause a VERY SMALL gap around the muffs. I can adjust the muffs and get probably 95% effectiveness, and it's never bothered me and I still use them, though I think ESS makes another model (SIlencer?) that has a more flat ear piece for using muffs, something to consider.Love these, will probably not get Oakley again with the quality, durability and price of these.

Bought these for deployment and they are wayy better than the ones we got issued. stick to your face when climbing in and out of military vehicles. i like the clear lenses more than the dark... switching is a pain and requires excessive force i feel. though the dark look slick. Case is on my vest (durable) with dark lenses ready to wear and another set of clear, ready to wear. Over all great and not flashy, and to military APEL standards.

I used these guys daily for a summer training event that lasted 18 days, so I they got a fair amount of use.My conclusions:the good: they are comfortable on the nose, the shaded lens is dark enough to be useful, the clear lens just that (you don't even notice it), the case is handy for keeping both sets assembled for easy swapping, the coverage is pretty good (I felt my eyes were protected), they stay in place on my head, and the anti fog coating works wellThe bad: the curved arms tended to make sore spots on the sides of my head where they pressed in, the anti fog coating becomes useless as soon as you get skin oil or the like on the lensIn all, they are quite good EyePro,and I would buy them again.

I purchased these as a surprise for my husband who is in the military. He loves them and wears them all the time at the range and when they're doing details. He says that his prescription inserts are very easy to change from lens to lens (dark to clear). The case is sturdy also, he sometimes puts the glasses in the case in his pant pocket and sits on them and smooshes them a little and they have had no damage from that whatsoever. Very good product!

These are some good looking glasses. I haven't put them to use, yet. As I can tell, they are very durable, good looking, and you don't have to worry about swapping the lens. However, swapping out the lens seems very easy with these glasses. I also ordered the Oakley SI 2.0, so I will compare the two and get back with you all. Very pleased with ESS products.

Well this pair of eye shields are in extremely good quality and the lenses are clear, lightweight and it is very comfortable. i had actually received 2 pairs or normal Crossbows instead of 1 normal and 1 suppressor. not a big deal.
