As the owner of a timid feline, this scissor like pet nail cutter is pretty easy to use and has a sturdy build quality for something so cheap! It provides a safe cut for my adult female cat by having a decent grip on the handle, the blade is sharp and quick to cut without harming her. It’s not too thick but not too slim. Just right and gets the job done.

The handles are small but very light weight and easy to use still. Cuts my cats nails pretty good. My cats feel comfortable and safe when so use it on their nails too.

These are great little clippers, much better than trying to use human clippers. These clippers are a little small but fit ergonomically in smaller hands. The clippers are sturdy and sharp enough to clip nails in one press. Very easy to use. They struggle a little on thicker nails, so I'd recommend them most for small animals like little dogs or cats. Overall, a great price for a decent pair of clippers- better deal than buying them from my local pet store.

Cat claws are not meant for human nail trimmers, and something like this is crucial for proper cat claw grooming. I like that the design guides the cats' claws into the cutting area, and can see what's going on to prevent cuts too high up the claw. The finger holes are a bit snug for me, so I'm forced to hold the tool on the end of my finger and thumb, which reduces my dexterity. The handles also don't quite sit flush with each other. I'm not sure if that's a design fault since each half of the tool is identical (likely) or if one of the tangs didn't get in the handle's mold correctly. It's not that noticeable until about 3/4 of the way from the top where the handles' widest sections are. Weight and balance are good. The shape of the end of the tool leaves a bit to be desired, as there's a bit too much material at the top, which can sometimes get in the way and prevent accessingy kittens' paws around their toe pads. This may also relate to the handles being small for my hands and having to use different positions than might be optimal in order to safely and properly trim their claws. For the price this is a fair purchase. I personally wish the design were closer to some professional industrial cutting hand tools I've used before to allow for better accuracy and less finger movement, but for the price it's acceptable.

I bought these because I wanted something cheap to see if I could cut my bearded dragon's nails at home or if he would give me a hard time. These worked very well on his nails. It was really easy to tell when I was cutting too far up because the clippers would get a little more difficult to close up, making them very safe for my bearded dragon. They're very easy to use for a beginner (like myself) and they're small and thin enough that they can be stored out of sight easily.

A black cat had 3 kittens at my parents house and she abandon them, so we brought them to our house. Their little nails was so sharp and fine. I looked every where to fine some that would be safe to use on Kitten's. I read the reviews and went with these. They are a good size and fit in your hand nicely. The grip is good on the handle and the trimmer to cut is good and sharp. My husband holds a kitten and I cut just the curve part off just enough to get the sharpness off of their little nail. Great size for little kittens or smaller cat. Price was good. Having a color for the handle was nice. Good and sharp. I would recommend them.

I have a cat but I actually bought these to trim the nails of my two Pomeranians who are really difficult when it comes to getting their nails clipped. This is her style with the rounded edges is safer and much easier to use than the traditional nail clippers for dogs. I can’t recommend these enough to anybody with a small dog or cat who is being difficult about getting their nails trimmed, to the point where you might feel like they wanna nip you or scratch you. These easy to use shears make the job go so much quicker and you can actually see what you’re doing and gauge how much to come off much better than the other more traditional nail clippers for pets. These pets chairs aren’t too thick to be comfortable in the hand, the thickness is perfect for comfortably making quick work of an awful job. I recommend anyone that loves their pet but I hate going through the nail clipping process by these!

Very durable, perfect size, lightweight, cut cat's nails well. Doesn't get stuck and moves very smoothly. These are overall perfect to use to trim cat's nails. Purchased these a while ago and they still work well. Very well designed clippers and good quality metal.

Worked quick and effectively on our kitten. I held cat and friend used these to trim nails. We don't like to cut cats nails because you need to have experience. Be very careful. Our friend has lots of experience cutting cat nails and she said the product was very good. She speaks from experience and I wrote this review based upon her feedback.

We needed a better solution to trimming our cats claws and she kept swiping at our toddler :/ these scissors are effective. They’re ergonomic and sharp making the trip and easy process (when the cat is in a relaxed mood, that is). The little groove for the claw to slot into makes the trimming process much easier. I’d love to show you a video of us using this on the cat but she’s honestly too hard to pin down.
