One other reviewer wrote that her husband/boyfriend is a carpenter and had difficulties mounting this on the wall. If that's the case, then that person's husband/boyfriend has been lying to her about his profession.This shelf is as simple as any other. Measure the distance from each bracket where the screws would slide into place, drill two smalls holes same distance apart on your wall and I would recommend using a level, tap the included anchor into the hole followed by the screw, and finally slide the shelf into position. Boom! Done. Looks great on the wall.

The shelves were well packed & arrive in a timely manner. They were very easy to install and my wife loves them. I provided a photo.

Way to difficult to install. You have to perfectly level the screws and make the distance perfect. We added picture loop brackets on the back at the top to screw them in with ease. I am a handyman so i install wall hangings regularly. Will never purchase again.

Very sturdy and cute. They were hard for me to hang. I actually hired someone to do this for me. But could just be my lack of experience of hanging floating shelves. Working perfect for my mason jar herb garden.

The quality was excellent. We used the smallest shelf in another room. Substantial, quality cratmanship.

Extremely hard to install. My boyfriend is a carpenter and had the worst time getting the back of the shelves to attach onto the nails on the back. The shelves are cute.. but they are so hard to install. Buy at your own risk

These shelves are a nightmare to hang up. They don't come with screws and despite all our efforts to hang these us they were just too wobbly and loose. I don't know how other people are saying they're easy to install. These were a pain in our ass and we'll be returning them unfortunately. I really loved the look of them in my Victorian Gothic home, but they just aren't sturdy enough to put decor on.

While these shelves are very nice looking, and quite sturdy, the installation leaves a lot to be desired.They do not come with a template, so you need to measure the distance between the centers of the 2 mounting plates on each unit, and then mark your wall accordingly.If you are off by even 1/16 of an inch, you will not be able to get the screws into the openings. You cannot see the screws or the mounting brackets while you attempt to hang them, so you can end up scraping the paint off of your walls while you try to line them up.This would akin to having my dentist attempt to drill my teeth without the use of his mirror, while I keep my mouth closed.

In the picture it shows 3 shelves with crown molding. However the shelves I received were very basic plain floating shelves. I was very disappointed and had to return them, as this was not what I paid for.

These shelves are junk. I was sent a completely different set from the picture but gave them to my husband to install and didnt notice until there were already 6 holes in the wall. They're not sturdy at all. Complete waste of money but not worth returning because we'd have big holes in the wall to fill now.100% do not recommend.

Floating shelves looked nice once installed. A little finicky to align the screws. Measurements must be exact. Also arrived damaged which was disappointing so not giving full stars.

Arrived on time, great shelves and am giving as a gift.
