Nice smooooooth 50w shimano! Have multiple older ones, I believe oldest is from pre 1980! Let’s see if it lasts as long! This one seems a little larger than the last model that came out in comparison.Thanks for the on time shipping Amazon!

Great product for the money.
I've fished with tons of gear and for the money these offer the most. They're far from the most expensive but stand up to the big fish like the expensive reels.

thanks for great looking Shimano TLD50II reel that came with 50# braided line. I absolute love this great looking reel and looking forward to catch many fishes coming kingfish season. I will take good care of this reel and plan to own it for many years through good maintenance and periodic service after each fishing trip. Again, thanks. Jim

Nice reel! To bad Shimano will not service these reels anymore.I talked to my local reel repair center. They said they wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole with two other people pushing and moaning! $279 is excessive for a obsolete reel I wish I would of known that info prior to my purchase. Repair said max on this reel is $190. Considering no repair parts or washers can be found for it. Good luck with your reel search.
