Fantastic quality of food dye gel. It has worked for buttercream, cookie dough, and dying rice flour. The wide variety of colors is really nice, and each color has multiple shades that can be easily achieved with just a few drops that mix in really easily. They are odorless and haven't impacted any flavor.

I ordered another set of another brand who I will not mention, but didn’t get my icing the color that I wanted it so I ordered the American color love love love, now I must emphasize. This is my first time doing this, so don’t judge my cookies, but I left some pictures of how beautiful the colors came out!

Love this food coloring, much better than other brands that I've used.

The colors are really wonderful, but I did have to use quite a bit of each bottle, and mix colors to get the darker, more vibrant colors I needed. I used well over half of the bottle of orange, plus a few drops of red to get the orange shade I wanted. As for the green and blue, I did have to add a very small amount of black to get the darker color (and even then, I don't think it turned out dark enough but didn't want to chance ruining the colors I had with more black). I think if you are going want really vibrant colors, and are going to be using a lot of frosting, you might be better off buying the bigger bottles. But the gel pastes as a product....I will absolutely be using again! I'm hoping to test out some of the other colors to see what I can do when I'm not working on something specific.

So glad I bought these. I did the amateur thing and bought food coloring, then Wilton brand gel coloring and finally stopped wasting money when I got these.. perfect color, nicely sealed and packaged, and the texture doesn’t ruin your frosting recipes

I used them for royal icing and it did not change the consistency! I love how they came in a white box and I was able to write notes on the box for the color I wanted…how many drops it took. Bottles came clean and sealed.

Nice variety of color and very good quality and end result. I used it mostly for macarons batter, which is very white. Might give different results for butter cream.

I bought this food coloring because we use it at the baking school I go to and already knew how vibrant the colors are. It only takes a few drops of this gel to get an incredible color. $75 may seem expensive but in reality you could go through an entire bottle from another brand trying to achieve what only a few drops of the Americolor can do. Its worth the money and you will love how vibrant the colors are.
