POLYWOOD Vineyard Arm Chair, Teak

Sturdy and comfortable chairs that look great on our front porch.

Love this Chair. Went together easily with simple hand tools (I am a former homebuilder). Very sturdy (I'm 6-2", 212 lbs) Quite comfortable yet solid, no wobble or flexing. Heavy to move or relocate ... this is not an aluminum or plastic "cheapo". Substantial, yet elegant.

These chairs have excellent texture, are solid, well-made and last forever! They are also easy to put together, so it is an excellent purchase.

The color and wood grain material is great. The color goes all the way through. The chairs are very high quality poly wood and sturdy. I am short 5'2" and finally found a chair I can touch the ground and sit with my back supported. The chair is wider than most I have sat in, more of a lounge chair. I find it very comfortable without cushions. I don't like the hassle of dragging cushions in and out so these chairs are great. I bought 3 of the POLYWOOD GNB24WH Vineyard Garden Arm Chairs, White and 6 Polywood tables. I had one minor hole alignment problem with one table. But I had a larger problem with one of the chairs. See the pictures - one of the seat slats was not screwed in properly from the factory and it caused alignment problems trying to screw in the arm to the back of the chair. I finally shaved off a small wedge of the seat slat to allow the arm to fit properly. I also had to loosen the slat to be able to line up and screw the back onto the arms. I found it easier to attach the back by NOT tightening any of the arm screws tightly before getting ALL of the screws started at least 4 turns. In particular it lets you start the top of the back screws more easily. Otherwise you might think you need to drill new holes - I would not recommend trying to drill additional holes because it is likely you would strip the holes. I did not want to send the chair back so I just worked and wiggled and tapped the back until I could start the screws. Then I slowly tightened the screws switching sides from top to bottom until all screws were tight. Then I screwed the seat slat back down tightly. I also had to tighten the arm rest on one side of the chair. Otherwise the instructions are clear. The parts were all there. They provide a tool to screw the screws in but I recommend you get out your power screw driver and find the angle bit you need because even though there are only 14 screws to screw in you will be glad to have the power. The packaging protected the chair parts very well. There were no dents or dings probably because the poly wood is strong. Even with the assembly problem I am still happy with the chairs - would have given them a 5 star if I hadn't had the assembly problem.

After our first set of Adirondacks, we’ve been hooked the quality, but the price has pushed us to other brands. When we come across a PolyWood sale on something we want, we jump on it. Then, we’re reminded of how much easier it is to assembly these. The holes are drilled in the right places, The alignment slots are right, there are enough parts, etc. We bought 6 chairs for an outdoor table. After the first one, assembly was about 10 minutes each with no problems. They are the proper height, feel solid, sit level. Good choice for us.

Very easy for me to get in and out off. Comfortable with a cushion. Nice to look at.

I have two chairs, three benches and two side tables. All are very easy to assemble, sturdy, comfortable and weatherproof. Moisture sheds off and can be is wiped completely dry with the swipe of a towel. I plan to leave them out through the winter snows for year round use and without concerns to their finish.

Horrible quality control. I ordered this chair after being quite happy with a chair purchased earlier. Unfortunately this one came partially assembled backwards and I cannot reassemble it properly because that voids the warranty. It is unusable and I'm now facing the headache of disassembling what I had to assemble and shipping it back. I am looking for a polywood customer service number but can't find it - just their general headquarters number on their website in Syracuse - which is not much help on a Sunday.

This product assembled easily and is comfortable However I paid $264.00 for one chair that’s all was in stock and now only weeks later it’s advertised at $433.00 for the same chair I don’t think this is good business on Amazons part
