We have two children around the same age. Will this box be appropriate for two children or do we need two different subscriptions?

Hello! Thanks so much for checking us out! We have many different options for accommodating siblings. Your children could share a single box - we do provide a lot of materials for one child and many of our projects, but not
all, can accommodate two children. You could also choose to order a second subscription so that each child gets their own box in the mail! What kid doesn’t love getting mail :) Another option is to order directly from our website, where we offer a "no fight" sibling box subscription, which includes a generous amount of materials for a second child for an additional price. Can you convert to the older box mid-subscription? i have a 4yr old but i want her to be challenged. if i order the young box now, is it easy to switc

Yes, our subscription on Amazon is a monthly subscription. You can cancel the Junior subscription at anytime and then make a new purchase for the older Discovery subscription. Please note that the new purchase will go out immediately, not the next month. If you want to wait to make the new purchase until the next month you can.

Anyone know the correct way to make the paint pellets for the spinning top project in the color science box?!? why isn’t it in the instructions?!?!

Sorry, there should be a small green instruction insert for the Spin Art Activity with the materials. While our magazine was at the printers, our team decided creating your own paint would be more interesting and fun for Color Science! Here are the instructions:

Place paint tab in a small cup and slowly add a dropper full of water. 
Use a full dropper to make a thicker paint. 
Be careful to not add too much until you decide on the level of color you would like. 
For a lighter color, add a few drops more.
Spin, splash and create!

Question 4

Could the seller please post whether the boxes repeat after a year subscription?

Hi! We have a three cycle with our themed boxes. While there is a chance we reuse a certain theme, we never intend for a customer to get the same box so we will send a new one theme if a duplicate will happen! Hope this answers your question!
