Very sturdy, base does not move when pedalling.
Very sturdy and easy to use. Using as part of rehab for broken leg. Have used every day for several weeks. No issues. Easy to adjust tension. Does not have all the electronic bells and whistles of higher priced models but I'm OK with that. Shows time pedaled, number of pedal cycles, calories burned, all I actually care about. Very stable and base does not move when pedalling. Lightweight, easy to move. I highly recommend.

Simple, cost effective and it works.
Simple, cost effective and it works. We used this to rehab knee after surgery. I recommend this product.

A Good Value, But I Wonder About the Squeaky Crank
This is a well engineered and well built unit. It is fully assembled, comes in a very efficient package, and requires only a handful of easy motions to be fully ready to go. It comes with a non-slip mesh sheet and one strap to secure it to something to increase stability. I bought this to hand cycle while an ankle healed (haven't tried it as a foot pedaler). I dug up a second strap and secured it to a board to use on my lap (photo), and it works OK for that. The pedals are optimized for foot pedaling and a bit squarish and clunky to be really comfortable on the hands. A pair of exercise gloves solves that inconvenience neatly. The tension adjust knob is a simple friction mechanism that is adequate to its designed purpose. The operation is smooth and you can really crank up the RPMs to get in a good arm workout. The simple little info pod that snaps on top is minimalist and includes time, number of cranks this workout, total cranks for all workouts, and a calories estimator. It has a scan mode for info during workouts. Not much to look at to pump performance during your session, but enough to track progress if you want. Conveniently, Apple Fitness has a "Hand Cycling" workout that tracks the hand cranking use with the same calories as "Brisk Walk". One gripe: the crank started squeaking after only three 45 minute sessions. I haven't notice any degradation of performance due to this minor squeak, but it makes me question the durability of the product (on the other hand, the price was very attractive and everything else about the unit is top notch). It comes with a 1-year warranty.

Good Post Knee Surgery PT Warm-Up
This compact pedal exerciser works great for my purpose, which is to get my legs moving as a warm-up for my home physical therapy exercises after knee replacement surgery. A few minutes of simple cycling will help me have less pain as I exercise, or even as I go through a routine day. I like the fact that it’s compact and foldable and comes fully assembled. I just pulled it out of the box and unfolded it, and set it on the carpet, just to the side of the kitchen table (not under it), so my knees could rise as high as they needed to without banging into the underside of the table. It’s on loop berber-style carpet and doesn’t move around. Weeks later, I’m still using it. Some reviewers don’t like the pedal straps, but they haven’t been a problem for me. I just slip my feet in and pedal away – there’s plenty of clearance between the top of my shoes and the pedal straps, and it hasn’t bothered me at all. Sometimes I wear shoes and sometimes big fuzzy slippers, and the pedal straps accommodate either just fine. I don’t care about keeping score, so I don’t use the electronic display. The device description was honest when it noted “Not for strenuous exercise or workout.” If you want a heavy duty device or a real resistance exerciser, this is not the one for you. You’ll need to spend more money. Although this device has a tension knob to adjust resistance, it adds just a little resistance, not enough for building muscle. The real benefit for me is the movement itself, to move the joints. I’m glad I got this device. It’s small enough that I can keep it out for now without hogging much floor space, and if I want to put it away for awhile, it folds compactly and won’t require enormous storage space. I’m giving it 5 stars NOT because it’s the best pedal exerciser out there, but because it works, and is a great VALUE for people like me, who want a lightweight, compact, foldable, pre-assembled device. It’s hard to deliver something reasonably well-designed and well put together at a low price point, without going so low in quality that the device doesn’t work, or falls apart after a few uses. This hit the value spot for me.

Does NOT come fully assembled but seems okay initially.
This does come folded so don't be surprised at the small marked box. It did not come in a jumbo wasteful Amazon box which I appreciated. Less waste for me to have to figure how to get rid of. I bought this for 2 severely limited, handicapped people and all of us, me included, have limited arm use at the moment. The description clearly states it is FULLY ASSEMBLED, NO TOOLS NECESSARY. It might not require tools but it definitely is NOT FULLY assembled. The counter device must be assembled and connected. Yes, this was a simple matter to take care of but I'm not a happy camper when website description is deceitful. Three weeks ago I would not have been able to even screw this device on. Fortunately, I can now. I probably would have still bought it if it stated 90% assembled, or that only the counter must be attached and instructions are included with no tools necessary. I would even give the assembly a 5 star as it would have been as claimed. I deleted 1 star for assembly because it is not as stated. I take one star off of husband who said there were no instructions for batteries as he did not turn the instructions over and wasted 30 minutes searching on line for how to do so. I do love that it folds and takes up less space. Also, rather than go to the trouble of attaching the device to a chair for stability, I like the option of sitting in a chair with the device sitting against an object i.e. hearth, couch, or wall. It will easily move if you are in any slanted position like a laid back wheelchair. It is less likely to move if your are directly above it but that doesn't happen unless you sit in a chair that the device can go partially under the chair. Properly situating yourself is a must for it's efficiency. That will take some trial and error. Each person may find a different position is better for them. As a product straight out of the box, I would recommend, but, I will try to update after mom and husband use this a few weeks. Me, I just need to get on the stationary bike I bought.

Excellent Exercise Bike Pedals, Very Effective Cardio & Legs Workout
My wife and I both LOVE this exercise machine! It comes pre-assembled, a almost instantly ready to use. All you have to do is to unfold it (the legs make a clicking sound as they lock snugly into place), then put the included AAA battery (only 1) into the digital data display, then snap that display onto the main unit with the hole on top, over the tension knob's hole. Then, screw on the tension knob. That's it! (There are excellent, easy-to-understand instructions for this included, along with step-by-step pictures.) If desired, you can snap off the sides of the pedal stirrups and adjust them to make the stirrups either tighter or looser, but my wife and I found the medium, default setting for these (at a medium level) to be just fine for both of us. The stirrup setting we are using are a little on the loose side, but our feet stay in the stirrups just fine when we are exercising with it. We use the ball of each food to flip the stirrup up so that we can slide our feet into them, which makes it easy to put your feet into them, with no need to stoop over to do this, since you can do it hands-free. These pedals are extremely quiet (almost silent), which is great, because we like to watch TV while we are exercise with it, and wouldn't want noisy pedals that would interfere with hearing the TV. Our cats wander around us while we exercise on it, and the cats aren't even spooked by it, since it is so quiet. We also like it because it is pretty safe for our cats to be around, since there is noting in this device for them to get tangled up in, or to easily get hit by. (We leave it in the part of the house where the cats roam around, and the cats completely ignore it, whether we're using it or not. This device is extremely sturdy and stable, and is of high quality, both in design and build. You can use it with just about any chair, or even in front of a couch or love seat (we've tried it with both of these.) It is pretty small (see dimensions in the seller's product information), and also lightweight enough to move around the house easily enough, should you choose to do so. (We use it in our home with a sturdy wooden chair with a comfy chair pad on it.) We have it on a carpeted floor, and it stays perfectly still and in place on the carpet while we are exercising with it. NOTE: In case you want to use it on a hard floor (like tile or wood), it comes with a non-slip rubber matt (like ones used under rugs to prevent them from slipping on hard floors), and it also comes with a nice strap that you can attach from the device to the chair or couch that you are using it with, preventing it from slipping when used on hard floors. But that is not a problem at all with carpeted floors. You will not be able to work the pedals with this device completely underneath a desk or table (unless the desk or table is very high) or else your knees will bump. BUT, you can store it under a desk or table--or keep it half-way under it, and then pull it out from under the desk (table) when you use it, if necessary. We keep ours in the same place all the time, with the front half of this device underneath a grand piano, and that gives our knees more than enough room when we use it. The tension adjustment knob is great, enabling you to add just the right amount of resistance you want. This ranges from almost no resistance at all (easy to pedal) to a whole lot of tension, making it very hard to pedal. When you tighten the tension knob and get to the point to where it starts really adding a lot of noticeable tension, you must turn the knob just a tiny bit at a time until you fine-tune it to get the exact amount of tension that you want, and this is easy to do as long as you only tighten it a tiny bit at a time once you get to that point. My wife and I both like the same amount of tension--not too little, and not too much--which means that we don't even have to re-adjust the tension when we switch users (although that would be easy enough to do, if we wanted to do that.) The digital display seems to be nice too, and it retains the data after each use, but can be re-set by pressing and holding down the red button for a second. Maintenance seems like it will be very easy. The manufacturer says that you should clean and lubricate it regularly for best performance, which means checking the inside of the pedals to make sure that they are clean and not obstructed by dust, hair, etc. (which seems unlikely to happen often), and also put a little bit of household oil on the pedals where they go into the main unit, in order to keep the pedals moving smoothly. These pedals fold up to a small size, which is a nice feature if you ever want to pack them to take with you when you travel. If you never travel, though there is probably no reason for you to ever use that feature. We also own a nice, stationary bike that's in our "gym" room, which serves the same purpose as these, but it is very heavy and not easy to move, and we wanted to be able to use these pedals in a different room. We also have a nice set of adjustable dumbbells (TMYDMY brand, bought at Amazon) and we often use these dumbells with these pedals so that we can exercise our legs and arms at the same time, and so that we can do cardio and strength-training exercises simultaneously, which is excellent. I have pretty severe arthritis in my feet, so I can't exercise on a treadmill or go on long walks, so these pedals are a real blessing for me, enabling me to maintain my strength and fitness as I age. We also like that these pedals are inexpensive, so you could buy a couple of them to use in different rooms so that different people in your home could exercise with them at the same time. They are an excellent value. Exercise bike pedals like this are often marketed toward older people (like us), but they would also help to provide an excellent workout for people of all ages, and I'm sure that younger people would love them too. We wish we'd had these when we were younger so that we could have used them for regular working out then while watching TV for our entire lives, instead of just being completely sedentary while watching television when we were younger. There is absolutely nothing negative we have to say about these pedals, and we highly recommend them!

dont just sit after meals, move those legs, even if not getting up and going somewhere
I'm pleased. I bought one for my parents, so they have access to easy exercise. They are mid 70s, and while they are both active, they are less so in the winter. Cycling is good for lower legs, keeping circulation going, help with bloodsugar management, especially after meals. Can be used with arms as well. Additional ability to get body moving. I found that every time I go to visit, I like to sit where they have this set up and I will cycle for 30-60 mins as we chat. Sometimes my smart watch will determine that I have been active, and will ask if I was cycling! why yes, I have! Odd since I dont notice my heart rate going up much with this at all (naturally low HR that is hard to get up). However, I notice that as I use it, I get warm and can hear it in my voice. Not over taxed, just like I was going for a quick paced walk. This is with moderately fast pedaling, and with tension turned up. I would prefer more tension, but for what this is, I overall think it is good enough. It is not meant to be used for strenuous work out. It is great for just getting some extra movement when one would otherwise just be sitting. I dont see it as a replacement for more challenging activity if one is able to do so. I liked it so much that I bought one for myself. I chose this brand because Vaunn is a medical supply company, and being familiar with their products I figured this would be a good option. It also looked like it would be a good size to comfortably get a good rotation with. I dont care for the elliptical style as it feels short and uncomfortable, and frankly useless. Also stupidly overpriced.. I wanted something that is same as actual cycling a bike. I looked at dimensions and this seemed to fit what I was looking for. It is. Also, budget friendly. We both keep ours out all the time. But I like that it can very quickly be folded down for storage. It feels sturdy. It comes with a grip mat and an optional strap for added stabilization (would be attached to a chair, which we have not used). We have ours on a carpet along with use of the mat. No issues. Best comfort is to find a chair that is of height and and depth that works with this and your body. I am 5'10" and y legs feel good with this. Shorter users will experience same. Again, try different chairs. The electronic display is accurate. Not that I count rotations. I dont care about that. I am more interested in time. I like that it keeps track of time. It will maintain that time in between uses until you long press the button to clear it. I have taken note of the time on my watch as well as the time passing on the display, and it is within seconds. Accurate enough for me!

Exerciser is great to use while sitting
I’ve used the exerciser twice since receiving it two days ago. I have wooden floors and the exerciser is constantly moving around while I pedal - very annoying. It’s not stable at all. Also the pedal straps were too big and my husband struggled to open the straps to make it smaller as it was very stiff & difficult to press it over the buttons - hoping the strap wouldn’t split. Even after that I struggled to keep my feet from sliding off. My husband used it and he had no problems keeping his feet in the straps and hardly any movement while pedalling. Tomorrow I’m going to try again with sneakers on. When it’s working properly this exerciser is great but the constant moving/hopping makes pedalling awkward - hence the 4*. I’m going to keep using the exerciser both for my arms and legs - the health benefit outweighs the instability of the machine I really appreciated the item came ready-to-go and with a battery included for the digital display. The quality is very decent and good value for money No more just passive sitting, I can be exercising while watching TV, reading, at my desk, playing a game on my phone etc.
