It's Wired
It was not clear to me from reading the product description, but this keyboard in wired. I would have preferred a wireless to replace my IR keyboard that I bought from Amazon in 2008 and which is discontinued. But this Adesso wired keyboard is great for a wired keyboard.Plug it in, and the software installed in seconds. Like 10. On a Win 7 computer. It is pretty, with the shiny black surface with a chrome border. Like a sports car. The touchpad is the best part. Well-placed if you're right-handed, and very responsive.

nice design, but POOR QUALITY
This is actually an AKB-440UB model w/ built-in touch pad. Right out of the box I had problems w/ the space bar. IMHO it looks like a design flaw. Unless you hit it right in the middle, it wobbles like crazy like a see-saw, and then it gets stuck. Never had a problem like this w/ any other keyboard. It's too bad b/c otherwise it would be a nice keyboard, but I can't live w/o a properly functioning space bar!

Acceptable and ergonomic
The keys take a little getting used to. The more I use it, the better my accuracy. But I've had a lot of missed keystrokes as I've figured out how much pressure each letter needs. I wish they would make an updated version of the Auravision Slim Series Media Pro, with just updates to the touchpad. I've had the original of that for over a decade, taking it from workplace to workplace. This is an acceptable keyboard. I like the placement of the touchpad - I'm not accidentally hitting other keys while using it, and it's in an ergonomic position. The numpad is essential and also well-located. All other keys are in expected locations. I'd love a backlit version.

Broken product, with flimsy keys and a improved touchpad
This is the 2nd time I buy this keyboard. The 1st time I didn't like that the keys some times are like flimsy, specially the large ones like the + symbol on the numeric keyboard, the backspace key or the space bar. The other thing I didn't like was that the touch pad wasn't precise. It lasted like for 2 or 3 years. Then I bought a similar one but another brand that was a complete disaster. So I came back to this keyboard again. The flimsy keys are still... well, flimsy. But the touch pad changed. This touch pad is a lot more accurate than the other one, that I like it. A lot.The thing I didn't like is that it wasn't well packed. It travel just in the keyboard box and and one of the two little pieces on the botton back, to stand it up, broke. So I received a broken product, with flimsy keys and a improved touchpad.

My addesso keyboard is amazing!!
I think no other vendor has made a keyboard this convenient, at least that i know of. The keyboard has the touch pad that is perfect for my office, it decreases the worry of keeping an area available for a mouse! I have more space around the keyboard for note taking. A very usable and awesome product!! Highly recommended if needed.

Bought 9 for the business, 100% soon become intermittent ops
This should be the best keyboard in the world and I WANT to love it. Instead, I hate it.Why? Simple, it's because they become erratic in operation - and very quickly. Suddenly, the mouse cursor freezes. Press the Fn button and it unfreezes. if it were only occasionally, fine but you have to do this over, and over, and over, and over again. 10X in 10-minutes. Basically, this interferes with work, you know? The reason you bought the stinking keyboard! So I've bought nice of these for the company over the course of a year or so and every single one begins to do this.Tried everything we know. Latest driver? Check. Tell the Windows to deactivate the laptop's built-in trackpad if there's a Bluetooth accessory touchpad? Check. But there is literally nothing that works consistently with these keyboards. Is it we're expecting too much of Bluetooth? Unlikely as they're like just 8-10' away from the dongle. And since they're the only unit on the market that gives you 104-keys and a touchpad, they should be the world-beater. Instead, they're seemingly junk, e.g. built to be cheap as possible with a crappy connection. As a consequence, you get what you pay for and even if they were $10 each, they wouldn't cut it.I've waited a couple years to post this. My advice? Just don't buy these. Too much aggravation.

I like the touchpad on the right
I am a copy editor and have been using this keyboard for a couple of months now. I am quite pleased with it. I find the position of the touchpad on the right is convenient once you get used to it and is more comfortable. This keyboard was an excellent choice for me.
