LeSportsac Classic Deluxe Everyday Bag

I have bought LeSportsac bags since way back when and this is my latest purchase. My previous one, which lasted for almost ten years, just had the zipper break so it had to retire. The "Nature Lover" print on it was one of my all-time favorites but is no longer available or I would have bought it again. However, when I spotted this one, "Aquarius", it had a retro, tie-dye look which instantly appealed to me. LeSportsac bags are the best in that they start out almost weightless so the bag does not add extra weight to the contents...and this Everyday Bag does hold a lot if you so choose to stuff it. It even has a zipper that you can unzip and make the bag wider for those times you buy some unexpected things and need to fit them in. Also, it has two zip pockets on the front, one on the back and two interior zip sections. I always make the adjustable strap long and wear it as a cross body bag. Another thing I like on this particular bag is that the interior is a light turquoise color which makes it easy to find something inside. My last bag had a dark interior and things are hard to find that may fall to the bottom. They are well made and last and last even with daily use for years. This is a great, as they say "everyday" bag. I highly recommend them.

lightweight, lots of pockets to keep things organized, a great handbag for moms who need 2 hands free to deal with toddlers. Wear over the shoulder or cross body. Holds all my stuff plus a spare diaper and a change of toddler clothes. Only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is the somewhat boxy shape, making it reminiscent of a small messenger bag. In retrospect, I probably could have ordered the hobo style from LeSportsac, which appears to be slightly smaller but a somewhat more stylish shape. But not worth the overhead of returning since this one is quite acceptable.

I've been traveling for more than 40 years and this is the best travel purse I've ever had. It's so much classier than a backpack, but holds nearly as much. I just returned from three weeks in Spain and this bag never left my side. It held two different currencies, my travel documents, guidebooks, maps, camera, phone, personal items, even an umbrella when necessary. Lots of zippered compartments keep your stuff organized, the study strap is comfortable as either a shoulder bag or cross-body bag, and I felt pretty pickpocket proof. The bag, especially in black patent, is chic enough so that I didn't bother to switch purses when I went out at night. Great bag. So happy I bought it for this trip. Just wish I'd bought it a long time ago.

I have to clarify. The handbag itself is quite roomy and I really like all the pockets. What I wasn't so crazy about was the color. I found one in another color called Grape that was more purple and returned this. However, if you like a more fushia color this is fine.

I love this bag. I saw one like it in the store, but didn't love the color so I went online and got this color. The bag can really hold a lot, and my favorite part is the 2 front pockets, I keep my phone in one and wallet in the other for easy access, and the pockets zip so they feel very secure. The big pocket behind can expand, and the second big pocket holds my normal size water bottle and a sweater with room for a bit more no problem! I took it to a conference and it was great because I could keep my notepad in the first big pocket (kinda flat) without opening the expansion. The bag itself is very light, but feels durable. Great for traveling. The strap also adjusts very easily for use either over the shoulder or as a cross-body, I switch it back and forth several times and it stays put where it is. It also comes with 2 small inner pouches, one that is removable and the other is sewn in, typical of any purse with the inside zipper. LOVE LOVE LOVE, wish I could get more colors, but this one the price was good (49 compared to 78 for some of the others)

This bag is very versatile since you can carry just about everything in it - even a small kitchen sink. :) I usually use the Madison bag, which I absolutely love but I wanted to give this one a try. This bag has two large compartments and you can even enlarge the front large pocket. It has two small front pockets and a large one on the back. There is a small removable bag that you can use for anything from makeup to pencils - I use mine for pencils and pens. The strap expands and can easily be worn as a cross shoulder bag, which is how I wear it. This bag is made from sturdy materials and is very well sewn. I have several diapers, wipes, a huge checkbook wallet, a phone, gum, keys, pencil bag, an assortment of Hotwheels, snacks, and my Kindle. In other words, you can carry a lot in this bag. I love it and I would recommend it to others but I must say that I actually like my Madison bag better - you can carry a lot in that bag without it getting too heavy (this bag is a bit on the heavy side). I like the purse. I am just unhappy with the print. I would have been happier picking something else. The size of the purse is perfect. It has just the right number of pockets in it. I like the fact that it is light weight and easy to carry. Perfect for a trip. I'm just sorry that I ordered the one I did. It is probably too late to return it.

I am not one who buys and uses multiple purses, so I am pretty hard wearing on the ones I have. I've been using the LeSportsac Deluxe for about two weeks now and am very pleased with it. This was my first step up to a mid-sized purse, after having always used small hobo bags, and I love that I can carry lots of items in this beyond just the simple wallet, sunglasses, keys, incidentals, without feeling like I am hauling a huge bag around. I've fit a medium sized thermos and small umbrella all in the main compartment, and that is without unzipping to create extra storage space. The vinyl does not look cheap, the canvas straps and lining seem very durable, and the zippers all seem strong and well-made. The front pockets are roomy but don't bulge when you place your items in. All in all, I think this is an excellent choice if you are looking for a cute, durable, and roomy but not excessively large purse.

I have been using LeSportsacs everyday bags for some years and for me it is the perfect everyday handbag. Copious, light and smart enough for any place. Lots of zip pockets and an adjustable shoulder strap. One of the zips has gone on my old one so I ordered a new black starry glitter one ("Superstar"). It has just arrived and it is so gorgeous I have just ordered a second one - to store as a replacement for when the new one gets too old!

As much as I try to find a slightly more dressy bag by another brand that still has the same functionality, I can not. I have agonized over beautiful Michael Kors, Kate Spade and Coach but in the end they are all heavy, bulky, wrongly-proportioned, and lack the convenient zippered sections and convertible shoulder-to-crossbody design of my beloved le sportsacs. Yes they are a bit on the casual-looking side for my liking, and I wish this bag would come with gold hardware and maybe just a tiny bling.... But I always come back to replacing my Le Sportsac with just a new color of another... you guessed it... Le Sportsac. This particular one, the Deluxe Everyday model, is perfection. I have a beige one for summer and this is my second black one (the other is a different fabric) for winter. I use it shoulder style for work, but sometimes I lengthen the strap and wear it crossbody when I am carrying lots of other heavy bags (e.g. bending to pull groceries out of the trunk). I pack this little guy full! In the front zips I have my iPhone 6 in one pocket, my work security pass in the other, then inside the front half it fits my large wallet, small makeup case (lipstick, shadow compact, mascara, eyeliner, 2 shadow brushes), a pack of gum, a large bunch of keys, hairbands, etc. In the back half there is tons of room for my sunglasses, a pack of kleenex, my apple container of earphones, a spare charging cord, spare napkins for coffee spills, and another makeup case that holds my foundation, blush, blusher brush and a foundation sponge. I could even fit more if I wanted to, for example the occasional time I pack a hairbrush or a work document. On top of it all this thing is so light and it has taken a beating of slushy Toronto winters, icky subway rides, muddy walks in the dog park and washes beautifully by hand or in the gentle cycle. I always nag my friends to consider Le Sportsac although they snub their nose at it looking casual. Which I agree, the only thing I wish they did was bling them up a little. But honestly, you will love this purse.
