The author, Tim Hall, also provides training (live/virtual). I attended one of his training sessions a few years back and was very happy with his training. This book is clear and to the point, much like Tim's training. The enterprise network environment that my team supports includes around 1500 Check Point firewalls/appliances of all types. I purchased this book for one of my employees and he's already putting what he's learning into action!

Any Checkpoint administrator wortht their salt should read this.

I know Tim and Daemon personally. These guys did a bang up job on this book. If you are a Check Point shop then you MUST read this book!

I recommend this great book for anyone who manages CheckPoint firewalls. Easy to read with lots of good explanations for tuning and improving performance of CheckPoint firewalls. Definitely useful for real world information.
