It was exactly right!!! I recommend fully!! 2 other vendors/brands were WAY cheaper But they were total crap!! Or had no chance of fitting. Don't waste time buying the cheaper ones!! You'll have to send them back and buy this one anyway!!!

Contrary to the title, I would strongly NOT recommend this pack for running. The pockets are few, and it slipped way too much. I was constantly tightening it on a 10 mile run. I haven't used it again, but I would think it will do perfectly fine for hiking.

The pockets didn’t work for my phone. But my big issue was the straps for the chest. The bungee material of the strap would not keep the straps in place during the run and had to tighten them up every 10-15 minutes.

Even with the extended straps I found the item to be too small. Im not a giant person (6ft, 210), but I seem to always have trouble finding hydration vests to fit properly.

The sternum straps loosen with any movement at all. Within 45 seconds of running, the pack was bouncing all over the place with 1.5 liters of water in the back.I love the extended strap size, bladder, and other features, but it will not stay tight, and that makes it worthless.I will be returning this pack.

If you're going to use this vest for running, then look for something else. As others have stated, the chest straps do not hold and any weight you have, such as a water bladder, will cause the front of the vest to just slide up on you no matter how tight you strap it down. I took this on a 22 mile race and regretted it.I really wanted this vest to work and it was a very ideal size with the perfect amount of storage room and comfort.

Great hydration pack, very light, love the 2L bladder. Only issue is the chest straps loosen over time. I’ve figure a way to make them stay, but it might not work depending on your chest size. I’m 6’0 and 190lbs muscular build for reference.
