Easy install with a perfect fit it (OEM Replacement Part) replaced the original that was damaged during a storm. I do suggest ordering the replacement screws that are sold separately. I didn't and I had issues with one of the old screws stripping out but was able to make it work after a little modification to the screw head.

If you are replacing your AC shroud, it is most likely that the 4 mushroom screws failed to keep your old one on! This shroud fits our Penguin II heat pumps perfectly and the 4 screw holes line up. However, I took one star off for not coming with the foam strips (which I didn't need). I also purchased the expensive mushroom screws that are SUPPOSED to keep the shroud from flying off and I DON'T RECOMMEND THEM. There are only 4 that function to retain the shroud and on the AC unit, but there were only the 2 front ones, the rear side ones were not present. The mushroom screws, both the originals and the new ones, wouldn't tighten up. I attempted to use them with new screw holes (7/64" through the metal, 1/4" through the plastic) and although they were very tight going in, they didn't tighten up when fully inserted. So, I recommend not purchasing the mushroom screws. What works very well instead are using #8 sheet metal screws, hex head (and non-self-tapping) using 3/32" pilot holes through the plastic and the metal frame while also using #8 washers. I placed about 5 on the front of the shroud and 2-3 on the rearward sides and I could make them very tight. While on the roof, I also checked on the rear shroud, which appeared to be okay until I noticed that the mushroom screws were only finger-tight, although all 4 were present! I inserted 9 sheet metal screws into that shroud as well. I expect no further problems with loss of Dometic AC shrouds. I don't know if this is a problem with other AC manufacturers but if you have roof AC units on your RV and can safely get up there to look, make sure that all of the hardware that retains the shroud is still present and tight and at least consider using additional screws.
