Love the antenna!! Well worth the money would buy again

I've had nothing but good luck with Stryker's CB accessories. The new antenna I just bought from them is no exception. These folks produce quality equipment, period. Moreover, its SWR (Standing Wave Ratio) was set almost perfectly at the factory. I added a spring to the mounting so I had to shorten the antenna by about half an inch, but if not for the spring, its SWR would have been very close to perfect.I buy nothing but Stryker anymore. I've had other brands, even those that are touted as being very good, which some very much are, but Stryker just makes it right. No guessing, no worrying. You just know you're getting good equipment when you buy their stuff.

East to install and it was very easy to tune

This is a very well constructed antenna. It has plenty of ability on my big truck to reach out a really long distance to speak to other truckers on the road.

Had a ruff time tuning it but works good now.

I used the antenna on a mobile CB set up on a piece of heavy equipment. The whip only had to be shortened a few inches when using the short shaft it tuned in very good on the SWR under 1.5

This antenna will not give a very good match across the 11 meter (CB) band as the supplied whip is only 49 inches. Package tuning instructions state that 50 to 52 inches are needed for CB - so I had to purchase a longer whip to get it matched to 11 meters. If you'd be happy with a 2 to 1 match, then it will be okay for you. (Match is better on the upper channels, but not the mid to lower ones.) Antenna works great now that I spent an extra $20 for a longer whip, so description is misleading.
