Amazing! A must-have for the workshop
Amazing! I hung it from the top of my workbench and put my vacuum hose through it. It is very adjustable, you can adjust the knob, which adjusts the tension, but I am also able to move the hose in the loop to also make it go higher or lower. Works great for when I use the router. I also let it hang over the workbench so I can easily grab it to vacuum.

not enough tension to hold up a tesla wall connector cable
i have about 9ft of tesla wall connector cable draped across the garage and it did not have enough tension to reliably retract it up to the ceiling on other end. even tried max tension but all that did was shorten the cable. bought a heavier duty 6.6lb max balancer and that works great and its all metal build. this unit is all plastic including the loop. it should work good for lighter items.

Beefy product that does what it says it does.
I purchased this to suspend a wall-mounted Shop-Vac's extended hose such that I could pull it down and use it when needed, then have it retract back to the ceiling out of the way. It was far beefier than I imagined, and the tension adjustment is repeatable and easy to dial in. While setting it up, I increased and decreased the tension several times and it returned to normal tension as expected each time. The line appears to be sturdy metal, so should last a long time. Note that I am not commenting on longevity, this being Day 1! Bottom line: I am happy with the product quality and value.

Tool Balancer
The Tigon Tool Retractor worked well for holding the charging plug for our electric car out of the way when not in use. The retractor allows us to run the cord to the middle of the garage and hold the plug up near the ceiling when not being used. Unit looks well made and should hold up for what we are using it for.
