Will hatred and fear make them realize that he's telling the truth or will fear of what happened in the past blind them to what's happening now?Katie Fairfax has had lifetime of problems. She's tried to put them all behind her when she left Hollywood and she now teaches drama at a college in San Francisco. When a last minute change in the lineup for the play that she's both directing and playing a part in leads to one of her pupils disappearing, she knows that it's her fault and she'll do anything to help find her, even if that means teaming up with the enemy.This story takes place twenty years after Amaury's Hellion and boy have a lot things changed within the Scanguards families. If you've read the other stories, you know who has married whom but here you find out just how large those families have become. Isabella is of course the oldest hybrid child and is now twenty but almost all of our favorite characters now have children as well and most have more than one. While it was a little difficult to remember who belongs to who since there are so many children now, the family tree at the front of the book helps with sorting it all out. I'm in hopes that these children, many on the verge of adulthood, will be in future books and that we can continue to watch them grow and see where their lives will lead.Now back to Luther and Katie's story. I have fallen in love with a villain. From his very first meeting with Katie, you will remember her from book 4 as she is Haven and Wesley's little sister, Luther feels drawn to her just as much as Katie feels drawn to him. Luther can't say seem to say no to her and finds himself right back where he started from, back in the vampire prison. This book was amazing and has long been one of my favorite series. Tina is an amazing writer that does a great job in linking each book to the others so that you can honestly pick up reading anywhere in the series and be fine but trust me when I say that if you haven't read this series, it's best to just start at the beginning because you are in for one hell of ride!

Blocked from headquarters and out of the communication link, Katie calls on Luther to help her find Isabelle, beginning a partnership that will take them both into places neither would have imagined they'd go.While this book can standalone, it would be more enjoyable if read in sequence within the series. Either way, it's a good read.

I enjoyed Luther's Return. Its the story of Luther West who we meet in bk1 of the Scanguard series. Luther is the villain in Samson and Dehlilah's story. He tries to kill Samson and Amaury's mate Dehlilah and Nina. He blames them for the death of his wife Vivian and unborn child. .Luther returns to ask for forgiveness after a 20year stint in the Vampire Prison. It is hard on a readers to except the villain as now the hero of the story. But Tina Folsom does a good job in turning Luther's character around and making him likable.Luther returns at the same time Samson and Delilahs daughter Isabelle/Isa has been kidnapped. Of course they think he did the deed. She has been mistaken for Katie Montgomery. Who has a stalker after her. She was a big movie star sex symbol type actress know as Kimberly Fairfax. After being stalked and brutalized before she has left the movie business and is living and working as a drama teacher close to her brother the Vampire Haven and her Witch brother Wesley the 3 were know in the past as the Power of Three the most powerful witches in the world.The story is full of action scenes, hot sex scenes between Luther and Katie, Lust or Love I couldn't tell. Its also a story of Luther rebuilding his life, redemption and forgiveness. It has a little twist at the end. So, why 4 stars instead of 5 stars. Well its because it was ordinary, nothing I haven't read in the past Just different author same story!! However it was good and entertaining. it's Always good to catch up an re visit all the old characters from previous stories in the series.

I'm so glad that Tina has brought Luther back. I was wondering what was going to happen with him. It's very exciting that she has gone into the future with everyone's children. Now the books can continue with the kids stories.That being said wish that we would have had Blake's story first. With him being a vampire now for almost 12 years I feel we missed things. But hopefully Tina will back track his story a little in his book. I also found it a little hard to remember who's kid was who and what their ages are. I found myself going back to the chart at the beginning of the book.Over all the story of Katie and Luther was exciting, sexy and I real page turner. Tina keeps you on your toes till the very end. We got to read luther's softer side and really hear what his true issues are with his past wife and why he blames himself for her death. Katie helps him get past that as Luther helps Katie get over her past. When I read what happened to her I was again sad that that part was pasted over because it happened five years ago but I guess that's just how it has to be written.Make sure to get this book and I will be patiently waiting for Blake's book to come out.

Luther arrives on the night of the high school play where things go from bad to worse as Isabelle, Samson's & Delilah's daughter gets kidnapped. But was the right person kidnapped as Katie and Isabella swapped roles at the last minute.Luther gets accused Katie gets told her help want needed, but she never told them that she received threatening letters, so they BOTH go off on their own to find the person who did it. They have to break in to the penitentiary for vampires to get the kidnapper's details. Through this adventure Katie and Luther gets a connection where they say it's till they get Isabella back & Luther had to leave San Francisco.Will they save her and Keep Katie save??? Will Luther and Katie be together afterwards & would Samson , Delilah and Amuary & Nina forgive Luther.Tina Has Done it Again 😁 📖📖😂

Just finished re-reading this series again ...must be my 10th time and its just as superb as the first time I read it. I love this series and Luther’s journey is one of my favourites! Highly recommend reading this book and the series....you will not be disappointed 😍

As with all scanguards books a brilliant story with a lovely romance the fact that two people didn't think they deserved a second chance at happiness and the fact that their attraction was almost heart stopping made it a different but equally lovely one Katie thought that at her age she was destined to be a aunt and sister and a great friend but never have or be that someone significant until he arrived Luther had spent twenty years deciding he had been wrong with his actions and had had his one and only chance at forever love he hadn't yet met Katie instant intrigue and attraction knocked him sideways

loved this book. there's been.a time jump and there's a whole new generation of vamps. Luther is back and about to fall hard for the delightful Katie. the whole gang seem.to appear in this book and as a fan.of this series, I found that really fun. danger and baddies are about still - well they've had a good 18 years of no trouble by my reckoning! I enjoy reading about them.all being loved up and happy but the angst to get there makes it interesting.

Tina does it again !Luther has paid his debt and just wants to move on but life gets in the way and keeps him in the company of his old friends and colleagues who no longer trust him.Great story, well paced and just as great as the rest of the series. I loved it and it was so great to meet the newest generation of the Scanguards kids and see how the couples have progressed in life. Fabulous..
