Fuel Pump Removal Tool - Lock Ring Tool, Tank Cover Wrench, Lid Remove Spanner, 3/8" to 1/2" Universal Adjustable Wrench

Worked great to replace the fuel pump in my sons car. This tool is handy to use to replace almost any fuel pump! It is adjustable and I am glad that I bought it!

I bought this to remove the fuel pump in my sisters car if it tested bad. As it was, the fuel pump tested ok and didn’t need the tool but I had it handy in case I needed it. It seems to be a quality tool and it’ll work for many brands of vehicles.

This was purchased to remove the fuel pump ring on a 2000 TJ Jeep. I was concerned due to the age and overall shape the ring might be brittle, but this removal tool clamped on tight and I had no issue removing the ring without damage (make sure the clamp is seated and tightened properly before torquing away).

Simple packaging, which I like because it keeps the price down. No instructions, but you don’t need them. Easy to set up. Worked as intended. A plus is they include an 3/8 to 1/2 inch adapter, so you can use either ratchet size. Only criticism is the wingnuts tend to loosen easily when using the tool, requiring retightening. This could be rectified if the included lock washers in addition to the flat washers, but the threaded studs aren’t long enough for both.

Did what it was supposed to do.

The tool is okay for the money as long as you don't plan on using it alot. In the description it shows that the legs of the tool are fastened by two small bolts or two wing nuts. I received the one with the wing nuts. It did okay the first couple of uses then the threads stripped from the wing nut. I,m using this tool on Toyota vehicles and sometimes the rings can be extremely tight. If you plan on using it often by a heavy/better quality tool.

i used this tool to remove the gas retainer nut on my 2003 Honda Pilot V6 EXL The tool made easy work of removing the retainer ring to replace the defective fuel pump in my pilot. This tool was price lower than other tools for removing the retainer nut from my pilot gas pump. I was very pleased with the tool and would purchase it again.

By far one of the worst president ever used castings were not square very hard to adjust and keep spacing’s correct would not tighten up due to poor manufacturing and tolerances

A little clumsy to set up, but it still works.
