a perfect summation of America’s pride and shame
This book is one of the best books I have read. It demonstrates how politics, race, sex, immigration, and wealth discrepancies have shapes our nation and continue doing so. History is not a series of isolated events, but rather a never-ending fabric of interconnectivity. This book captures that very spirit of America’s interconnectivity of events and the people who lived them.

Bought on april17, supposed to be here may 4, shipped may 4, arrived may 7. Had rental stickers on outside, had one page with highlight and a xouple sticky notes. Overall pretty good condition though. Happy, and definitely using for class.

Easy reading.
This book was a requirement for my Texas History II class. Easy reading. I like to have a tangible book to refer easily to. E-book was included in my course but was glad I had a regular book too.

New in plastic
Pro: Despite being a rental, the book was delivered new in the original plastic packaging. Con: Probably could have made it through the entire course without having to open it.
