I love Ivory soap smell but I can't use the soap because it's too harsh for my skin. I also loved "Clean" perfume. One of the "Clean" perfumes smelled JUST LIKE Ivory but I believe it's discontinued...maybe not enough interest. Anyway, this oil smells more like lemons than anything. I get no hint of the Ivory smell at all. I was so excited and was disappointed upon receipt. The bottle is sitting in my car.

Perhaps I should have realized, but the scent on this oil was extraordinarily strong. I got a little bit on my hand by accident, and it took two days of very frequent hand washing for it to fade. Great if you want the scent to last, I guess, but not so great if it gets somewhere you did not intend it to be. Also, I did not find this scent to be very much like Ivory Soap. It was not an unpleasant smell, but not the scent I had hoped.

This smells like "clean". Clean without the perfumes; clean that gives you confidence to say that you pay attention to cleanliness. Very welcoming.

Gross. I use Ivory soap and this smells nothing like it. It's like a very musky powder sent.Update: was one star, because the smell doesn't match the description. I changed to 3 stars, because the seller approved return with a label; postage still required.

I use it directly on my beard and smell it all day long. I get all my oils from this company and only once did I ever have a problem with the way one of the oils smelled.

Used in making cold processed soap, baby soap. Smells clean and fresh.

The oil smells good when you open the bottle but the scent does not fill the area it goes away quickly.
