Classic Control Shorts | Shapewear Shorts | Supportive & Smoothing | Soft & Breathable | No Rolling or Riding Up

This is the shapewear I’m wearing for my wedding & it’s great for formal wear as it hugs tight to the skin. It doesn’t irritate my skin & super comfortable, I can barely tell I’m wearing it.

The control shorts are fantastic! They are comfortable, smooth, and cool. I don't get too hot in them. The top waist band will roll-down some, but not terribly. They are durable too. I have two pairs now.

Life spiraling out of control? Feel like you’re hitting rock bottom day after day? I don’t have a solution for that but at least go through it quietly with pride like your grandma used to do only with these shorts you can not only suppress your emotions but you can compress your excess flab too! Comfy and shape contouring so you can eat that bowl of ice cream and hate yourself in private but hold your head up a little higher in public where you’ll look pretty darn good!

First, here is what I loved about these Commando Classic Control Shorts: extremely comfy fabric and seamless edge on the waist and thighs makes for invisible lines at the waistline and thighs. The compression is smooth and gradual. They are comfortable and stay in place when I tried them on. I am 5'5" and the shorts are longer than expected on my thighs, reaching to just 2-3 inches above the top of my kneecap. If you wear your dresses on the shorter side, the control shorts will be visible. Why the 3 star? There is really little control in these control shorts. The shorts smooth out the silhouette, but there is no help with my little tummy bulge and they just flatten your butt - ie no curves. I can do just as well with a pair of control top hose. So for the $52 spent, they are not worth it to me and I am returning.

I last bought a pair of Spanx in 2010 and finally retired and replaced them with this pair of Commando brand shape wear. These are incredible. They’re so thin, yet so strong and they don’t roll up like my old Spanx brand did. I’ve already told my friends about these and how great they are.

This shaper worked well for me, as I was simply looking to smooth (not really reshape) under fitted dress. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a similar effect. However, if you are really looking for "high suction," I would choose another brand.

Let me start by saying that I adore Commando underwear, they are the ONLY brand I wear. I purchased these for a tight fitting jumpsuit that I thought could use some smoothing undergarments. These Classic Control Shorts did NOTHING except flatten my already non-existent butt. I sent them back as the price for these was nearly 2x's what I pay for their briefs and my briefs looked exactly the same as these shorts under my clothes. If you are looking for shapeware these are not what you should be buying.

These are super comfy and do a good job of creating a clean line under dresses. I will sometimes double up on these for more shaping support.
