I change my bed sheet every week, I steam clean my headboard, I have the hepa bed vaccum that has ultra violet light for my bed for dust mites and germs. I have air purifier running all the time in my bedroom. Still, wihtin 30mins, sneeze. So I got an allergy test, and the only thing tested positive was dust mites. Ok, so I got this spray. Then one day, I spent 3 hours, dusting and vaccuming my bedroom, especially the curtains, the blinds, the headboard, shelves. Then after I vaccumed I used this spray, sprayed on everything, hard surface I wiped and soft surface I just let it air dry. It didn't change any color on any fabrics, and when I was done, I walked out of the bedroom and later walked in, oh wow! I could def tell the difference! It has a very very light bleach smell to it, and the air in the bedroom just smelled so "soft" and gentle on my nose. And that night, I got in bed, until I fell asleep, nothing! No itchy nose, no running nose, I was actually breathing much better too. I think this gallon would last me about 3 months if I do it twice a month? so far I have only done it twice, two weeks apart and it has been working great. I think I can probably do once a month now. We have 5 air purifiers (one in each bedroom plus some in main living spaces), allergy air filters in all return vents, hepa filters in all vacuums, Demite laundry additive to control dust mites in bedding and clothing items, and now I apply this spray at least once a month on all carpets and upholstered items in the house. I even use it on my dogs (yes, I am allergic to the dogs that sleep in my bed) during pollen season. They won't let me spray it on them, but I pour it on paper towels and rub it all over them after they come in from potty time. I know this stuff works because when I skip a month in the summer, my daughters and I spend a lot of time sneezing and itching. At that point, I hose down the house with the stuff, wait for it to dry, vacuum, and -- thank heavens -- symptoms are temporarily alleviated. During tree pollen season, I have to spray everything each week; as you might imagine, one gallon goes quickly in the spring. I wet a paper towel and wipe the areas around computers and TVs to control the dust mite issue, and (again) it seems to help. If you're reading this review, your allergy problems are probably affecting your quality of life in a big way, so I'd say this product is definitely worth a try. I started out with the smallest spray bottle and liked it so much I ordered the gallon container within a day of using it the first time. ******** 2/24/2015 UPDATE********* I am still using this product--just ordered yet another gallon of it in anticipation of the Spring 2015 Allergy Season. I now use empty Febreeze bottles to spray it (they give off a really nice, fine mist for curtains and other fabrics). Another reviewer posted a photo of some bleached out curtains--I have used this product EVERYWHERE in my house and have never seen a bleach stain. I am not saying that it is outside of the realm of possibilities that this ADMS product could cause discoloration/bleaching of some dyes, but fortunately that has never happened to me. Here are some of the fabrics/materials that have been regularly sprayed/wiped with this product: **100% polyester curtains **100% cotton curtains **2" faux-wood blinds **poly/rayon bedding **100% cotton bedding **synthetic nylon rug **synthetic polypropylene rug **semi-antique wool, vegetable-dyed rug from Iran **dogs **clothes, mostly cotton/poly blend, but some denim and wool **gardening hats of all different fibers **computer equipment (darn dust mites) **down & feather pillows **down comforters **polyester (synthetic) duvets **cotton + poly duvets **sneakers **concrete (partially finished basement--was killing mold spores and dust mites) **plastic chairs that go with my daughter's play kitchen area **Granite Transformations counter tops **stainless steel fridge **door handles **latex-painted wood **decorative glass vases I basically drench my shiny, polyester comforter in this stuff on a monthly basis because my dogs believe they are sharing the bed with us, not the other way around. My comforter (except for the frayed threads where they scratch and roll incessantly) looks exactly as it did the day we removed it from its packaging. My husband groans when he sees me reach for the spray bottle, because he is not a fan of the scent and it is ubiquitous in this household. I do what I can with essential oils and such to mitigate the smell, but the tell-tale soaked comforter always gives me away. Still a 5 star product!

Allergic to life, and this stuff works!

It actually works!
It actually works! We rescued two kittens from spca. We had fallen in love. Unfortunately, my son (also his best friend who is our neighbor) both had allergic reactions to the kittens. We didn't have the heart to return them. I researched online and read all the reviews (love amazon). I purchased ADMS anti-allergen in large size meant for refills and my own spray bottle. Followed directions. Vacuumed and cleaned first, sprayed liberally, waited to dry, then vacuumed and dusted again. I started with the playroom. After I was done called both boys for the big test. No reaction. Previously my son's friend began sneezing with swollen red itchy face almost immediately. Today he stayed and played for hours, no reaction AT ALL! My son is not as allergic, and happy to say he also had no reaction. I am thrilled and I have to admit surprised. Truthfully I didn't really expect it to work that well, even with the rave reviews. I don't usually write reviews, but I am so grateful to be able to keep my sweet kitties and the boys are allergy free, I want to help anyone else who is thinking of buying this. Now I am off to do the rest of the house. Side note- some people mention a smell and sticky residue. There is no strong smell. I absolutely no fragance, I hate that febreeze type stuff that leaves a perfume smell everywhere. There is an ever so slight smell of bleach, very faint, but it is there. It just smells clean to me. I only used it on one fabric item, did not affect or change the color at all. It did leave my wood floor the tiniest bit sticky, barely noticeable once it dried, but it went away and is totally worth it. The boys went from being miserable to NO allergic reaction! So happy!

My daughters have serious allergies to dust mites and ragweed dogs and cats and there dander. one daughter of mine broke out all over here body because of dust mites she itched and burned she was in hell they both experienced bad headaches bad abdominal cramping nd scary fevers Plus intense breathing complications that had me on edge all the time. Allersearch was amazing even for me and i dont have allergies i love this stuff and the other product for washing clothes After doing the cleaning procedure and sprayed all the carpets. All breathing complications headaches and fevers were gone. I even noticed that in the morning i would wakeup feeling alot better and if i coughed anything from my lungs it was clear and not white or yellow Which totally shocked me because that has never happened to me. i never had a bunch of stuff in my eyes either. Spiders hate this stuff as well even big spiders die instantly when you spray this on the so microscopic spiders(dust mites die instantly. It can burn your feet if you walk on it so leave the house after you spray it with the kids leave some windows open as well. i can tell when it stops working because like clockwork both my girls start to get headaches again and i know its time to respray i am shocked that it doesn't have a strong or per-fumy scent either. You only smell it when its being sprayed and even then its not strong and we cant use anything with a strong smell no Fe breeze, candles, incense, anything not pine-sol nothing! like that and if i have to use anything like bleach the kids cant be hear no matter what! so if smells of certain products make you sick have no fears with this product your safe! I Have used this product since 2010 it has been a life saver. Others who don't like didn't use it properly You should also use there laundry wash as well you don't have to use a whole scoop just half a scoop. that stuff is amazing product if any of your clothes get moldy this stuff will get the smell out i have never seen any laundry detergent on the market take the hidden smell out clothes like this this little bottle goes along way and is extremely powerful for such a little bottle! for strong smells let the clothes sit overnight in the washer with the allersearch in the water use a whole scoop as well you will be shocked by the results. I don't exaggerate!! i haven't even mentioned how the spray kills mold smell also klean the hepa sponge filters in your vacumm with this stuff since vacuuming will trigger allergic reaction

Very Helpful
When I was younger, I went through a series of allergy desensitizing shots which helped a lot. We have had several cats in our lifetime and so I never really noticed an issue...until our two new kitties. 5 Months of recurring sinus infections which caused my ears to become infected, causing the eardrum to rupture...twice. Saw an ENT to inquire about allergy shots again and he said, get rid of the cats! I was so sick. It was unimaginable to get rid of these cats, we had adopted them after they both had a very traumatic start in life and knew that we were able to give them the best life possible. They came from different circumstances and we knew that if we had to re-home them, it was unlikely they would be kept together and their bond is amazing. We searched the internet, talked to Vets, friends and family about options....We purchased a pet air purifier, switched their food, made our bedroom off limits, built a catio so that the litter boxes could stay outside and the cats can go in and out whenever they want to, I started using a neti pot to clear my sinuses, we bought this spray for our furniture, we bath the cats weekly and brush ever few days, vacuum the furniture a couple times a week and give them VertiScience Omega 3,6,9 in their food every other day to help with their skin and coat. This combination is working very well for me and unless Im snuggling the cats, my allergies are totally under control. I have however, found it is necessary to apply this spray twice a month. Our routine is not for everyone but we didnt adopt these cats just to get rid of them. We have invested in them and it seems that everything we are doing is finally working. The cats are almost a year old now...so they are able to go outside of the catio more (still worry about birds of prey and coyotes since we live in the country. I will continue to keep this spray stocked...it is a very important part of our routine and Im grateful we found something that works!

Did not solve my allergy issue
After reading the raving reviews where many allergic kids did not suffer from the symptoms after their parents used this, I gotta admit this hasn't worked well for me. I have bad case of skin allergy to dustmites. I followed the instructions and all but I still get triggered on new allergies whenever I sit on the couch or bed. So it isnt a miracle cure for me, unfortunately :(
