Seems a good wee phone for elderly members off the fam easy set up simple to use clear display and great price fast speedy delivery

Amazingly easy to set up - popped in the SIM and pressed the red button and VOILA! Made a call, received a call - easy peasy. Phone book appeared instantly - no scrolling - never have I had such an easy set up (apart from an Apple iphone). It is inexpensive, great volume, has large easy to read numbers, and SOS function,and an instruction leaflet that isn’t in jibberish. It has a torch and a camera. I highly recommend this phone for anyone who just wants a phone to send and receive calls.

My mum loved the simplicity of this phone. Great having the sos button just in case of an emergency. Nice and compact and not too bulky. Only negative is it never came with the mains charger just a USB lead. But we had a spare from another phone so used that to charge the phone up. Overall ideal for its purpose.

Got it for the wife not seen her since lol

Bought 2 of these now, both for 85+ year old relatives. They like the simplicity and ease of use and the big buttons. I like them because they are great value and take about 5 mins to set up and explain how to use them (means I don’t get the ‘this phone isn’t working’ call)

I bought this phone for my mother who is 94. One of the reasons I chose this particular phone is people commenting on the long life of the battery as I thought it would be easier for my mum if she didn’t have to keep charging it. I do wish people wouldn’t give false information when they are reviewing a product. I haven’t managed to put her contacts in and the battery has run out. The instructions are extremely poor.

Great for the elderly

This phone doesn’t win any prizes for its looks - it’s functional but has so many fiddly annoying faults it’s hard to overlook the fact it is essentially cheap. Very poor instructions and diagrams - basic things like how to get the back off and fit the battery and SIM card are virtually non-existent. Yes it’s meant as a simple functional phone for “seniors”, but god help anybody trying to set it up who a) doesn’t have superb manual dexterity and b) doesn’t have a working knowledge of mobiles from 20 years ago. It’s awkward, it’s clunky and it’s very limited in all its functions. Yes it has big buttons and a simple speed dial system and a loud ring and an SOS button (on the back where you could inadvertently press it at any time), but if you’re looking for something that can be used for anything other than emergency purposes, this isn’t it. Call quality is ok, but while testing it before handing it over to an elderly aunt, I thought I would break it every time I picked it up. Plastics quality is shockingly poor, but at the end of the day it does the basic things it was designed to do reasonably ok. Just remember to slide the lock button on all the time to stop those phantom calls etc!

Das Artfone Senioren Handy habe ich für meine Mutter gekauft. Sie braucht ein Handy mit dem man telefonieren kann und einen Notruf absetzen kann. Genau das erfüllt das Handy. Die Tasten sind sehr gross und können leicht bedient werden. Die Menueführung ist für meine Mutter leicht verständlich. Wichtig war mir auch die Notruffunktion. Über diese kann man mehrere Nummern einspeichern und im Notfall muss man nur den roten Knopf auf der Rückseite drücken und sofort er tönt ein lautes Signal und an alle Notrufnummern wird ein Alarm gesendet. Das Handy verfügt zusätzlich noch über eine Taschenlampe, Radio, Kalendar, MP3 Player und Dual Sim - alles Sachen die von meiner Mutter nie benützen werden - aber andere Senioren doch als hilfreich empfinden könnten. Werde es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen für ältere Menschen die mit einem Smartphone überfordert sind.

Ho acquistato il telefono per una persona anziana ipovedente, la grandezza dei tasti e la luminosità del display sono ottimali ed hanno svolto un ruolo chiave nel supplire al deficit visivo. Il telefono ha una funzione vocale per annunciare chi sta chiamando ( pronuncia il nome che si è usato per salvare il contatto in rubrica, se non è un numero salvato in rubrica pronuncia in sequenza i numeri della chiamata in entrata, la voce è meccanica e con suono metallico ma scandisce bene le parole ed è ben comprensibile, quindi la funzione in sé risulta essere utile). Il cellulare è dual sim, le impostazioni sono un po' macchinose ma comprensibili ( non adatte però per persone molto anziane) . Ha una funzione di blocco tastiera con pulsante laterale, molto comoda e facile da usare. Ha una funzione di torcia sempre con pulsante laterale. Un grosso tasto rosso posteriore serve per la funzione di chiamata d'emergenza con numero da impostare, molto utile per anziani. La batteria ha una lunga durata, fino ad una settimana , con utilizzo intensivo può scendere a 4-5 giorni. Giudizio: ottimo per anziani ma va fatto impostare da persona più pratica coi menù dei cellulari. Ottimo anche per chi non ama gli smartphone o vuole semplicemente un buon telefono a prezzo contenuto.

Cercavo un telefono per mia mamma, facile da usare e con SOS integrato e sono contenta di avere scelto questo modello. Si vede che è pensato specificamente per gli anziani, con pulsanti grandi e ben spaziati che facilitano la digitazione. Inoltre il display è chiaro e leggibile, con caratteri grandi che rendono facile leggere i numeri e i messaggi. Una delle caratteristiche che ho più apprezzato è la funzione SOS, il pulsante dedicato consente di chiamare rapidamente i contatti di emergenza con una semplice pressione, e questo mi consente di avere una certa tranquillità in caso di urgenze. Il volume del telefono è alto e mia madre che ha problemi di udito riesce a sentirlo anche se squilla in un'altra stanza. Il suono inoltre è chiaro e senza distorsioni. La batteria ha una buona durata e ne permette l'utilizzo per diversi giorni senza necessità di ricarica frequente.
