Dinty Moore Food Can, Chicken and Dumpling, 20 Ounce (Pack of 8)

This is yummy and only needs to be heated, on the stove or in the microwave. I like to add frozen peas. but canned peas seem to add a sweetness that doesn't work with the savory meal. The chicken meat is ample, in big chunks so you know you aren't getting the stuff scraped off the bones after the rest of the meat has been sold for higher prices. The dumplings are really good. It is quite "saucey" so you'll want a bowl instead of a plate. Just the thing when I need comfort food but don't have the will to cook.

I bought a couple cans of this at Big Lots, but could not find anywhere at stores near me. I loved it, and surprisingly, so did my husband. I've ordered probably 48 cans of this in the last couple months. Very tasty, and I actually thought there was more chicken than I wanted. I love the dumplings. Easy to heat up for a quick lunch. Love, love, love this stuff!

"No Preservatives" caught my eye, and the Chicken & Dumplings taste great, but the product contains monosodium glutamate. If you're sensitive to MSG (as I am), beware.

Way over priced an no returns

I add a can of veggies as I please and this is such great tasting stuff. As a single senior it is the cat's meow. I have served it to guests and they love it too. My grandma "MiMi" (born 1888) made the best ever..but she's not here..is she?? Great taste and great Amazon Prime shipping delivers it to my door 2-day service no extra charge. Re-ordering 4 cans....sooo.yum yum yummy! Try this product.

I ordered this some time ago, and it came across while i was browsing "order again" items. The price has gone up outrageously, now at over $5 per can. I searched high and low for this last year and found it here. HOWEVER, I will not order again. Obviously because the price is too high, BUT this is not the product I remember from days gone by. The chicken is tiny cubes, not like the "pulled "type which was moist and flavorful, and it is tough and rubbery. Also not much broth to balance it out. NOT the product it formerly was. Another product gone the way of inferior ingtedients.

The shipment came in but three of the cans were punctured actually and semi open (seal broken) but Frozen or semi-prozen and the other cans thet were dented cans but they were not open so I worry about the health issue of those that were open and oozing out nevertheless I kept them. If the health issue occurs from eating one of the first cans I will reply. I doubt that will be the case or I wouldn't even try.

I can't make chicken and dumplings as good as these..so perfect for a quick harty meal..and the price is good..so I defiantly give this 5+ stars
