Dyna-Gro DYRTG002, 2 oz Root Gel

works great, beats the Clonex Gel I think, it is a thicker gel so it sticks better and it it has 2 ingredients where most only have 1. got 100 percent success rate now. and it is cheaper so WIN win. It is a Green Gel. Dyna-Grow makes great products for less money cant be happier.

Keep the product at a steady temp, cool not cold or it degrades. It is excellent though if kept in good conditions. Use a clean plastic spoon to remove product so as to not cross contaminate, and the product will last longer and provide more even results.

This rooting gel is easy to use but has little efficacy. I have used it for a koNth now and the success rate was less than 10%. Furthermore, the product begins to stink really bad even though I always use a clean spoon aliquoting so no contamination was possible.

Great product

Let me start with a little background. I grow carnivorous plants. I was recommended this by a local carnivorous plant nursery. I am meticulous about my plant care and husbandry. I only water with distilled water, plant with organic peat and quartz sand and pure Sphagnum moss. I don't take chances. Hence, why I purchased this. I am re-potting one of my more fickle plants, cephalotus follicularis, Australian pitcher plant. I never even thought to check the date and that's on me. But I now have 13 re-potted / propagated Cephalotus, 7 re-potted / propagated Saracenia, and last but not least, 16 separate Pinguicula propagates that this was used on. I'm furious, and now I have to wait to see if it kills my plants. I have no more soil to replant everything that has been exposed. I will attach pictures of the plants. But, keep in mind this is the 1st time I've used this product. It has in no way helped with my plants up to this point. They don't look great because I just repotted them and with expired gel at that. My plants don't come cheap. I've been growing them out for over a year. Fingers crossed I didn't kill my favorite plants.... I will update when available.

this gel is proven just as effective as the $40 name brand competitor. Don't waste your money, this product works the SAME exact way and has identical properties and longevity - just no fancy logo.
