First Curved Monitor - Impressions
Curved? 1000mm / 1500mm / 1800mm / 2300mm, what's all the numbers about? Rather than explain here (too lengthy) checkout the ol' internet for yourself. It makes a big difference in your selection based upon how you plan on using a curved monitor. This one is rated at 1800mm. Which means your optimum sweet spot for viewing distance is between +/- 2 to 4 ft. Just my opinion based upon several factors, Such as font size, scaling and watching YouTube videos. After spending a fair about of time going through all the settings I've found what works for me.I use this monitor as my part of my home computer (Dell 8940) set up. Right next to my home computer I have my work laptop and a 32 inch flat monitor. Both monitors fit side by side on my 6 ft desk. I wondered if this would causes any eye strain, headaches or other issues one monitor flat the other curved. Happy to report none. Now, as far as the "likes" on this monitor, they are all positive! After set up, no wobble on desk, no glare an overall sleek look. I concur with most all of the other positive reviews about the monitor.Only negatives, this thing weighs a ton! Delivery is in a 45 lb box. Although it is well protected. Having to lay the monitor on it's face to plug things in the back are a pain. Not something I'd want to do on a weekly basisAfter weeks, yes weeks, of research decided on this 32 in curved monitor form Dell. Bought it here on sale for $419. (Can I put the price in my review) Highly recommended!!GB

Simply stunning
I tried to buy this from Best Buy but none of the 4 stores in my area had it in stock and couldn't have one shipped. I tried Fry's with no luck. I knew I wanted this screen but I needed something right away to test out my new GTX 1080ti at 1440p. I bought a Pixio screen in store at Fry's and also bought this screen from Amazon. I figured I'd try the Pixio 329 (flat panel 1440p 165hz) and once this Dell delivered I'd return the one I didn't like. I kept the Dell because it is simply amazing. Browsing internet on a curved screen this big (and nice!) is a real pleasure. Sometimes gasp at how nice regular internet pages look (at 2560x1440p) on this screen. Gaming on the screen is the business. I've played Modern Warfare, and Witcher 3 at 1440p and the clarity, brightness, and color contrast are stunning. I haven't had any need to fiddle in depth with any settings. User interface is simple enough. I had to wait a couple weeks for this Dell but it was worth it. It goes without saying that you shouldn't bother if you don't have a gpu that can push the pixels; but there you go I just said it anyway.

So Far, So Great
As a former HP user who used exclusively HP products from about 1998 until 2015, I have been enormously pleased with the Dell products I've used for the past decade. When HP's once-great laptops turned into complete junk, I asked a friend who said "Buy a Dell or an Acer." I chose Dell and have never regretted it. This Inspiron laptop is good. Extremely sturdy with metallic cover (versus cheap plastic) and easy-to-type-on keyboard. I am actually still using my old Inspiron purchased 4 or so years ago and it's still going along fine, but my policy is "always buy a new PC during Black Friday every 4 years" and that's what I did. If nothing else, you save a couple hundred dollars or more including the store discount and credit card 5% cash back. I set up the new laptop within an hour of it arriving at my doorstep and it looks to be about the same as my current Inspiron quite frankly, which is all good with me. Looking forward to using it within the coming year as I slowly phase out the old one.

After much research I pulled the trigger & no regrets
I wanted something that could display high frame rates. I haven’t gamed competitively since I was a teenager but knew if I managed to do something besides work on my new desktop build, I wanted that feature. They do not disappoint at 165hzI also wanted 1440p for the same reason. 4K just isn’t that necessary for the performance hit on some applications.HDR is a nice feature but does make SD content dark scenes look terrible! The dark parts of the screen become blotchy. I haven’t cared to see if a non streaming service would be better but I do not notice this hardly (or at all really) when it’s 2k or 4K content. Especially not in my software I run or in any game.Just on Hulu lolSystem specs, Ryzen 5900x w/32gigs of 3600 ram and a 6900xt all on water.Doom Eternal and Resident evil play and look absolutely stunning on these. I have yet to notice any ghosting etc and have had them for a few months.I do architect things in revit, lumion & CAD. I will say these curved monitors were a gamble in my eyes due to this. Others I’ve seen in stores bend more than these do. I actually much prefer it since the screens are massive in size it keeps more screen closer to me. My brain makes up for the rest I literally hardly notice it and can’t say it’s ever actually bothered me.Everything else I found within reason of price just fell short somewhere and these really excel in everything I want them for besides Hulu so I’m very happy. I only believe Oled would make me happier or maybe mini LED but those monitors aren't a fair price yet. Eventually I’ll upgrade again but I’ll make it many years on these very happily.Never thought I would pick a dell but the more I searched the more the others (big brands and small) fell short in reviews/quality features.Again for my needs and what I do. I couldn’t be happier

----==== My First Curved Screen Monitor ====----
---=== Dell S3220DGF ===---Out of the box and hooked up running factory settings I'm really impressed with the Dell.My old monitor is a Dell 2407WFPB 24inch IPS that is about 11 years old and still performing great.Usage on the new Dell is mostly gaming and internet and out of the box it looks promising. I'm going to run this without any adjustments for a few days to get used to looking at this huge curved screen. Honestly though after an hour or so of use I adjusted to the curve and size. Gaming is fantastic, no issues at all.Going to adjust settings soon and will update on performance...
