They work!
First, I want to say that I was reimbursed for the cost of the four lamps I purchased, but this will in no way influence my honest and factual opinion here. I have had and been using these lamps for over a month now and am ready to give a review of my use experience to date. To start, overall I do like these lamps and if I was in the market for additional similar units, I would most definitely place these high on the consideration list. If I need more today I would repurchase these, a year from now, we’d have to see what is available at that time. Setup, in most cases, is quit simple. Follow the instructions, making sure you are on a 2.4G WiFi network as these will not connect to 5G. Use the Smart Life App to set them up, creative some rooms, automation, etc. In my case because of how my network is setup, I tend to have to set most of my smart devices, such as these, going the indirect route of connecting directly to the fixture from within the App. Again, they have made this relatively painless, just follow the instructions and prompts in the App. On to use, they work. I can control them in several different ways, via the Smart Life App, Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri, among other options that I do not currently use. The lamps a responsive, and will provide a wide range of colors. Something to be aware of is that these are really intended, in color mode, to be an ambiance light and not brilliant. I am using them in two locations, the bedroom and the family room and in both places they are installed in end table fixtures. A relevant note, yesterday the power in our area went out for several hours, flickering several time before so doing. When the power was restored, again after several bouts of flickering, all but one of these lamps managed to properly reconnect and worked without issue. One, however, had to be deleted from within the Smart Life App and then reconnected. I attributed this to all the power flickering of the power that went on and the WiFi network needing to restart and sort it’s self out. In the end, these appear to be respectable lamps and I look forward to many years of use. If your on the fence about purchasing, I’d say they are a good choice. Cheers!

Nicely priced - smart light solution with fun color options that works with alexa
I have recently gotten into the "Ring" ecosystem. I was looking for lights and came across these. Really like the color and dimming features. Also for the price I got 4 bulbs for what in many cases you pay the same amount for 2 bulbs. As a novice user of alexa set up took a bit to learn how to add skills (look for that in the instructions because it wont find treatlife bulbs by default) and then you need to learn how to set up routines. I was looking to schedule a front porch light so I put it in a group called front porch, I went to All devices, selected my light (called front porch) and then created a routine called front light on , When - Sunset everyday (you find this under schedule), then add an action, light bulbs are under Smart Home. Then you select your light bulb that you named (in my case front porch) and you can also set the features of the light. I chose power on, full brightness and cool white for the color. If you get these bulbs you have lots of color choices!!! and then you are pretty much done, create one for off at sunrise and you are good to go. I put all this here because maybe this will make it go faster for someone just starting out with alexa integration. I checked the support website, somewhat sparce and mostly focused on their smart switch products but it does give contact information and loads quickly and you can see the full line of items that they make. These are 800 lumen lights and they also work with google home too. Ill have to give the other settings a try but Im really excited to get these and they work really well. If I have any issues I will come back and update this review.

Amazing product, I love it.
I love treatlife products. I have some Kasa smart products too but like Treatlife much better. They are less problematic and easier to setup. Kasa gave me problems one time even after they were setup while treatlife kept working. Talking about the bulbs now. I replaced my regular bulb on my table lamp with this bulb. My table lamp is old and has the little three Brightness turn switch that’s hard to turn sometimes. When I first tried to set the bulb to setup mode to connect it to the network, I couldn’t because if the switch of the lamp. You have to turn the bulb on and off several times before it starts blinking rapidly and enters setup mode. Because the lamp gave me problems, I put the bulb in a regular lights and as soon I followed the instructions and turned the bulb in and off few times and voila, the bulb started blinking rapidly. I then opened the smart life app and added a new bulb under Lighting - Light source (WiFi). It took few seconds to connect to the bulb and register it with my treatlife account. It then became available on my smart life app. After that I renamed my light bulb. I then switched the bulb to my lamp and turned an old lamp into a modern voice controlled device. Since I already had other treatlife product and my Smart life account linked to my Google home app, the light bulb became available in my google app and available to be controlled by my Google home assistant. I was able to turn on and off using google assistant speaker, change brightness and change colors. Check out the attached video. Since reviews on Amazon do not have integration rating for google assistant, I rated the Alexa integration with the google integration rating instead. This is an awesome product. If you are looking for a smart bulb, don’t hesitate to buy this one, you will not regret it.

There is no perfect solution
These do everything they are advertised to do, They will pair \ install using Smart Life and you can connect through alexa \ smartlife skill to turn on and off the lights as you want. You can voice control the Temp (Warm, Cool, Daylight) as well as the hue (Red, Blue, Green etc) and control the dimness by calling out a percentage. If you use single numbers w/o percent it assumes 1 = 10% i.e. if I say set lights to 5 that's 50% or I can say "dim lights to 25" for an absolute percentage. if you use single numbers make sure to say "Percent" after them if you want 5% versus 50%. If you open the bulb in alexa you can see the 5 "tunable" shades of white light as well as 16 shades of color Alexa will not see "grouped" devices in smart life - you have to create your own group As such I have my rooms and then I have groups for each room's ceiling fan because some rooms (like my bedroom) have lamps too. You can only control individual bulbs in the alexa app or groups - and with groups there is only on or off unless you use voice commands. Also Alexa is often a butt, so more unique names might help with differences and the shorter the better. For example the wife and I both have offices and originally I did "{Name} office" for our offices. however sometimes she will confuse them or more often than not simply time out with the longer name, so now the wife has "Office" and I have a "Lair" they work well for automated routines - I can set an alexa routine to turn on specific lights or a group at specific times or say turn off all the lights when I say "Alexa, Goodnight" by turning off the switch and turning it back on, you can manually force the lights to come on - which is great if your internet goes out or if Alexa is being a butt. Unlike Hue and other fancier bulbs, they don't do gradual illumination on\off - i.e. if I turn them on, it's immediately to whatever the last value of dimming and color. *IF* the bulb takes the command. very often I'll say "Alexa turn on/off (group)" and I will get a ping of acknowledgement then pause, then *maybe* some or all of them respond... then pause, then maybe a few more. on average 1 out of every 4 might take a few seconds more when turning on. When turning off I find myself having to repeat the command 2, 3 times. This seems to be particularly common for Treatlife Color bulbs as I've replaced the lights in 7 ceiling fans at 4 bulbs each. So all in all 75% of my issues are more Alexa than the bulbs, however 25% is that these just don't seem to communicate as quickly and accurately as other devices both Hue and other smart life \ Tuya chipset devices. However, in defense, I got a free "hue" bulb from Amazon with an echo and it quit responding to the network within 6 months. if I'd paid going rate for those bulbs, they cost as much as a 4 pack of Treatlife bulbs. As such, so long as you realize it's not going to be as snazzy as those Hue commercials, they are all in all a good product.

Great bulbs, Alexa compatible & inexpensive to operate!
Sets up & integrates with Alexa very easily. The wide range of colors you can choose from is AMAZING as well as the ability to set it as to a default white, regular bright or soft. I have the one next to my bed with a night profile because I had read somewhere that red light helps stimulate sleep and it seems to help, at least for me! The other two I put in our pot rack and set to bright white and they seem to be brighter than the original 60W LEDS that I replaced them with. (They were only in there for a couple of weeks) This is super useful when coming into a dark house with your arms full of groceries. The list of handy places I keep coming up with means the purchase of several more boxes in my future, lol! (Hey manufacturer, Can a brother get a discount code? 🤔😅) LOL J/k I always give a fair, honest review of products. The wife loves the one I put on her nightstand as well and wants some for her office too. While the price per unit is actually pretty good compared to a basic LED bulb I just wish they were a bit more affordable. We had just finished replacing all but some of our speciality bulbs with LED, however these are so useful we are gonna do it again. 🤭 If you want to easily start the process of making your home "Smart" these are a product I can fully recommend you start with these bulbs. I plan on buying more very soon, feel free to do the same!👍 If there are any problems with longevity or other issues in the future I will upgrade this review accordingly.

Fantastic Smart Device
Even though I have ~18 smart switches and outlets installed, I was resistant to the idea of a smart bulb. Why would I pay extra for a consumable item? However this Treatlife bulb became inexpensive enough for me to try and I feel that I should have tried it sooner. Super easy to install and get connected. Google and Alexa integration works great. White spectrum light is bright, other colors appear maybe 20% as bright to me - this may be too dim for navigating a room but great for mood type lighting. This is the first item that I've gotten from Treatlife that references their specific app. Previously they used "Smart Life" and the "Treatlife" app looks and works exactly the same. Functionality is great and allows for Automation using several triggers(including dusk/dawn and multiple weather conditions). I'm not dinging the rating as I have in my other reviews about not having IFTTT integration as I knew about that when I purchased this item - although I'm still bitter about loosing the functionality with my other Treatlife products. There is a workaround currently using another similar app called "Brilliant Smart" - which again is an exact copy of Smart Life or Treatlife but the difference is that it still supports IFTTT. Update: As of August 2020, IFTTT support has returned to Smart Life but does not yet appear in Treatlife.

Update to 3 Stars
*I* was wrong... and right. lol The lights flicker ***if the fixture is on a dimmer switch***, and mine was. I switched to a standard switch outlet, and the FLICKERING IS GONE. So for that part of my review, I apologize -- the lights DO NOT flicker, on a standard switch. For those people who I know are seeing flickering, use a non-dimmer outlet/fixture. LIGHTING: The whites are bright and the colors are good (not great; good). GROUPING AND MUSIC: I used the Smart Life app to connect originally, and that was fine... I can add them to a room and control them, but not do a music sync with all five bulbs. So I bit the bullet and created a Treat Life account (GRRRRR)... added all five lights... AND I STILL CAN'T GROUP THEM. The app is nearly identical to Smart Life, except there's a Mall tab where you can buy new products -- and that seems to be the only place the developers spent any time. NO GROUPING OR MUSIC SYNC, that I can find. A few reviewers/question answerers said "this is easy; just group them." Can't find that option... MUSIC: The app uses your device's microphone to sync *A* bulb to music. Using a Fire 8, I open that bulb, tap Music, and tap Start. The sound does NOT need to be coming from the device, but the mic needs to be close to the music source. So setting the Fire 8 next to Alexa playing music works. But, again, it only does one bulb -- as soon as I back out of *that* bulb, the 'dancing' light stops. The reason I wanted these was to sync 5 bulbs to music as a group... and that doesn't appear to be an option. Bummer. SUMMARY: The lights are good... as smart lights and nothing more. Music sync part is fine, if you want one bulb to dance. If you have Smart Life already, no point in also getting Treat Life. Works well with Alex. PREVIOUS REVIEW: Don't try to gaslight the people who are saying these lights flickering by saying "they only flicker for setup" -- THEY FLICKER. I bought 5, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to return them. I have a headache sitting in that room just long enough to set them up. If you're light sensitive, buy a different brand. APP: I *loath* a company which requires me to CREATE AN ACCOUNT in order to use their product. I may need an app, but I don't *need* an account. I used the Smart Life app which I have because I want it, and setup was a breeze. Took me a couple tries to get the fast-on/off just right, and then it was simple/fast. ALEXA: As soon as Smart Life recognized them, Alexa picked them up -- so that was easy too. MUSIC: Don't know if they work to music... that was the reason I chose these, but b/c the flickering is so bad, I don't even want to know if it works. Disappointed.

Awesome LED Bulbs
These bulbs are totally awesome. They work exactly as described and perform much better than I expected. No clue about longevity since I've only had them for almost six weeks. Connecting to Alexa was a bit of a challenge, but I got them linked up just fine. Alexa controls them easily including the color change function without the Treatlife app. The Treatlife app needs work in my view though. It's difficult for me to find some functions - the menu is not intuitive and menu items are hard to find and understand what they do. But this is me. Tech-savvy people will likely do better at discovering and understanding the functions. I've gotta say the daylight or full-spectrum white mode is super bright. I have one installed outdoors as my front porch light - fixture is covered so the bulb is not directly exposed to the elements. The colors are vibrant and stunning. I have three installed in pendants above my kitchen island. This is a central area in my home requiring bright white light to see for cooking and other activities. The Treatlife bulbs work beautifully in the kitchen. In fact, they work so well I am seriously considering buying Treatlife Canister lights to replace the five I have in my kitchen in addition to the pendant lights over the island. One nice function is that each light is numbered and you can change their label or name so if I sneak into the kitchen for a midnight snack I can illuminate only one LED if I need to instead of the entire array. The porch light can be set in the Alexa app to turn on and off at dawn and dusk and I can even change the illumination intensity from very dim to bright white. I can even change the color to deter bugs that are attracted to white light. I can also signal my neighbor with Green light so he knows he can come over to watch the game or any number of colors for various moods or, er, uh, signals. To this point, I am quite pleased with these lights. There's one caveat, you must register with Treatlife. To use their app they require information that I was not really comfortable sharing. I suspect they know when and how I use the lights. Nothing life-shattering, but nonetheless I did not appreciate the invasion of my privacy however minor. But I have nothing to hide, so, what the heck! I highly recommend them.

Durabilidad

Great quality, easy to install and use
My home uses Treatlife smart light switches for most of the rooms upstairs, but one of the light switch electrical boxes has only two wires so I couldn't connect a smart dimmer switch. Instead of trying to feed new wires into my walls, I decided to use a conventional light switch and add a smart bulb or two in order to allow home automation lighting for that room. And if you are going that route, might as well use color LED bulbs so you can have some fun! Installation is of course easy, just a matter of screwing in the light bulb. Then to pair it with the network I went into the ubiquitous Smart Life app, hit the + button, and chose Auto Scan. Then I turned the light switch on and off three times and after a pause the light bulb flashed a few times. This means it is in discovery mode. The key to successfully pairing is to wait long enough for the Smart Life app to find the bulb on your network, probably 30 seconds or more. Once it is found you are good to go. All of the LED color bulbs I've seen provide 60 W equivalence or less. In other words, don't expect to find a super bright 100 W equivalent color LED bulb out in the wild. I decided to use two of these in the master bedroom so that both together would provide more than adequate light. Colored light in particular does not seem as bright as white light, since a single color only uses a fraction of the available light spectrum. If you want to use a smart light switch and a color LED bulb in tandem, the situation is a little more confusing at the moment. Turning off your light switch will also cut power to the LED bulb, meaning it is no longer connected to WiFi. In order for this to work properly, it would require a light switch that sends a data signal to turn the LED bulb on/off, rather than controlling the power. Maybe these type of switches exist for WiFi bulbs but I haven't seen them. Instead, a traditional light switch will do the job. You could leave the switch on all the time and control the bulb via voice or app, but this solution isn't ideal for others in the house who will become confused when they flip the light switch and the bulb doesn't power on. It's probably better to use the physical switch to power the smart bulb on and off. When you flick the switch on, the LED bulb turns on instantly and remembers the previous color setting. It takes perhaps 10 seconds to reconnect to WiFi in case you want to start changing brightness or color. It's not a perfect solution but it works just fine. Overall I'm very happy with this purchase. I recommend Treatlife smart bulbs to anyone who wants to try colored lighting or simply doesn't have the option to install a smart light switch.

One of the best buys I've made
Have been wanting to get smart bulbs for years now but without wifi in the house that wasn't possible. Finally got an ad hoc system going with my cell's hotspot so decided to try out some bulbs to see if they were really as good as the hype. After much research the Treatlife bulbs ranked highly everywhere so took the plunge and, man, am I glad I did. The hype is real folks! ㋛︎ Set up was über easy with the Treatlife app & the available options are fantastic. Having 16 million colors to choose from, preset warm & cool white lights, ability to schedule times for turning on/off, & the ability to change the brightness of any colour was what I expected & it works perfectly. Being able to sync the lights to music for parties or use one of the available preset colour schemes (aka scenes) is a nice touch. I don't use Google Nest or Alexa so can't comment on how well these work with voice control. At 100% brightness the bulbs definitely throw off a ton of light, especially for bulbs using only 9W. It'll be interesting to see how much money these bulbs will save me over the year. Regardless, I am going to really enjoy using them and will definitely be buying more for the rest of my light fixtures. Can't highly recommend them enough.

Easy to set up. Lightbulb kinda dirty
What I liked was easy to install app and set up, and than link treatlife through the google home home app. White light is also quite bright. What I disliked that some of the lightbulbs had a few dirty pieces of dirt (?) or something dark on it, as well as scratches over the light bulb. Not sure if it is an used product, but the transparent seal sticker seemed to be fine. I also disliked choosing a white colour on google home and purple appearing on the light. Overall good value at about $10 CAD per bulb. App seems to want access to a lot of phone info, whatever.

Smart Lights For Life.
These bulbs are pretty neat and for the pricing that was given quite fair for a pack of 4! The ability to control all the various room lights in our large house is no longer an inconvenience, with a very quick and not long installation process with Google Home and the TreatLife app. Me and my family can nest happily in our rooms, without worrying about the hassles of getting up to go turn off the lights manually. In most cases we are too busy occupying our selves with work and school, and we have a tendency to leave them on, where at the end of the month it bites us back in the butt, so not only does it help us with saving some extra money on the side, it also helps us be a bit more eco friendly-these small nuances really help out. As for aesthetics, they came in a variety of colours other then your standard white light! All I have to say is "Hey Google (insert colour) Red" for example and it changes it instantly. It's cute watching my mom and brother talk to the app just to see the lights change different colours. Trust me the kids will have a field day. Each light also gives a different mood-an ambience to the rooms you go in, so if you're really into giving your room more of a personal touch that goes along with your aesthetic-it adds to it! Makes playing Zelda more serene with those lights!
