Color and details inaccurate
I really hate leaving less than 'good' reviews, and I'm normally somewhat forgiving in my expectations. But in this case, especially for the $57.98 price tag, it warrants pointing out the inaccuracies. The product received just doesn't match the photos in the listing. And believe me, I was really looking forward to them - it is not easy finding red floor mats in these modern days of beige and charcoal car interiors. The biggest issue was that they're not red - they're orange. I was expecting the color in the photos (allowing for some minor variation for monitor differences), but it's clearly not even close. I have just copy/pasted the listing image directly on top of the photo I took of the product received, and I swear on my Amazon account there was no foul-play, enhancing, or color editing of my photo. It was taken on the front seat with the door open, in daytime sunlight outside, and it has only just been cropped to a more manageable size to fit the smaller listing photo on top for color and detail comparison. The redder colored fabric coming in from the left is a red towel I laid on it to see if it was just my eyes playing tricks. The camera had a little difficulty getting that towel color accurate too, but still, there's the obvious difference between it, the listing photo, and the actual mat.Of lesser importance to my own application, but still worth pointing out is the "Includes High Quality Embroidered Car Chassis Logo On the 2 Front Floor mats" quoted from the description. The listing photo shows the logo directly embroidered onto/into the carpeting of the mat. In reality, it's like an embroidered patch that has been glued onto the carpet surface. In my case, I wouldn't have really cared too much about that since these were purchased to be used in a different car anyway. But if I was a Honda owner expecting to receive the product shown in the listing photo (remember these are almost $60 mats, twice the price of generic 4-pack carpets in auto parts stores), the misrepresentation of the embroidery quality would add to the sting of the color inaccuracy.Ok, that said, let me end this on a more positive tone. The quality of construction, disregarding color and patch logo, was actually pretty good. The carpet itself was nice typical floor mat carpet, the knobby rubber underside seemed like it would be durable and grip well, the grommet for the floor hook on the driver's was fastened cleanly, and the outer binding edges were generously sewn and tight. Had they been closer to actual red, they'd be in my car offsetting that medium-grey interior. But instead, they're already in transit back to Amazon.
