Have not had a chance to use product but looks easy to use and I feel with this product in my home it will keep the dog hair from clogging up the air-conditioning system. Waiting on help from family to install.

These re easy to install and with close monitoring will work fine.

If you have allergies, live in a house or apt situation, and aren't allowed to have air duct cleaning for your furnace and air ducts, you could have a very hard time getting through the winter months as I do. I had to do something or move. So I got this air filter material for covering the vents that puts out the heat and air conditioning. This material doesn't come pre-cut so you have to do the best you can on your own. The adhesives don't work very well either. So you have to be creative in finding ways to make sure the material stays put. It's well worth it in the end. A good humidifier, a good air purifier, and making sure you filter out as much of the dust and debris from your vents as possible, helps the air quality of your rental home as much as it can possibly be helped. It's not easy to cover my vents, but it's definitely well worth doing and this material works well for that.

We use a wood burning stove 24 hours to keep our house worm in winter, so I use filters to catch small particles from the stove through fan. When I was cutting this filters to fit into the fans, I found lots of short hair on my shiny gray quartz countertop. So, I guess we are breathing air with these plastic or fiber glass short hair from this filter???? I was disappointed but I think all the vent filters are like this one??? Catching dust or breathing air with plastic or fiberglass short hair - nothing is perfect. I would not want to breath air with fiberglass, though...

This has saved me from changing my air filters from every month to every 3 months. I'm shocked at how much hair and dust this thing picks up before it hits my filter.

The reason for my purchase is that we have a downstairs neighbor that smokes in his doorway and because we live in an old building the smoke enters through the ceiling and doors to the furnace room. The smoke then travels into all the rooms of our apartment when the heat is on. I purchased these filters in hope to diminish the smell and smoke that was coming in to help with my asthma control and so that my 7-month-old daughter does not have to inhale smoke. So far these have not worked. I have given them a week or so, attached them onto the vents and it hasn't done anything. When I originally received the package, some of the little adhesive hook and loop pieces had come off of the plastic backing and had attached onto the filters. So first I had to detach them from that, then I attached them onto the vents themselves. They really should be in a separate bag. The air that flows through is too forceful and blows the filter right off. I don't want to have to resort to taping all around the filter just to get it to stay since I have to replace it each month and that would be wasteful and a pain. The company had sent me an auto email on how I was liking the product. I replied and told them what was going on and I never heard back from them. So in short the product doesn't really do its job and the customer support is not there. I ordered from a different company and will most likely be returning these since I can't use them.
