Very large & tent like

I'm 5'4". The poncho did not drag and kept my backpack dry on our trek. It also doubled as a leave gazing surface... We'd just spread it on the ground, lay back and look up into the trees! Money well spent.

I've Worn this poncho in a couple of thunderstorms so far and it worked well. I always carry a backpack at work and I often have to park the car over a mile from my office. A terrible situation if it starts to pour while walking to your car. This is smaller than most umbrellas and it fits in the pocket of my backpack. I can easily deploy it and throw it over myself and my backpack so that I stay dry and so do the contents of my bag.For about a mile-long hike to my car, it is more than adequate. I might look for something more durable for camping or hiking for extended periods, but for quick emergency use walking medium distances in heavy rain, this poncho gets it done.

did the job in a pretty heavy storm

I keep it in my tackle bag to have handy for those rainy fishing days. Doesn’t take up much space. Going to buy another to keep in my car.

Perfect! Used as a picnic blanket before I had to use as a poncho. Two ppl sat on it (without un-velcroing it!) and enjoyed a picnic on a hike. Used as a poncho recently and it's just perfect! Kinda long tho... Kept getting caught in the heel of my shoe even with it covering a backpack.

It's a Poncho - what else is there to say. Do hang it up for a week or so to air it out b4 using. Better for your lungs.
