Excellent device, good for starting musicians.
I liked the bundle that came together with it. This is something that you need to put time into. You can’t just buy it and expect for it to work out of the box. YouTube has some great intro videos to get you started but you need to keep learning the ins and outs of the device. I use it with ableton and that’s a beast on its own. You need to learn the device plus the program. I have no musical background and now am able to put together some decent beats. I keep practicing and each time I go through tutorials I get better and better. Do not be afraid to purchase this but I’d say only do so if you are serious of using it constantly. For me, personally, it was an awesome purchase and don’t regret it at all.

Great piece of gear for Logic and Ableton
Haven’t needed tech support. But a great addition to the studio. Works great with Logic and Ableton. Really seamless. Seemingly limitless on the amount of things this thing can do. Great buy! These headphones were surprisingly nice!

Very Pleased with the Launchpad Pro Mk3
I bought this Launchpad Pro Mk3 because I was trying to get the usability and capabilities of the push2 from Ableton without spending as much money. While it obviously does not have ALL of the features of the Push 2 it is honestly surprising just how close it does come for less than half the price. I especially love the Ableton integration IE sends, volume control, clip recording and launching, etc. etc. However the best features are honestly the pads themselves. Very touch sensitive and responsive. Watching videos on youtube with people playing the push 2 and the launchpads some guys are actually playing piano with them. I thought, there is no way I will be playing piano with this thing, now I find myself actually playing piano with it all the time. It really is surprisingly good. The optional keyboard layouts and the Chord mode are freaking fantastic. I am NO pianist but I can make some rather impressive sounding music with this thing. Way better than I am able to do with my M audio Keystation Pro 88 or my Arturia minilab mk2. The Ableton control is really great and I am able to setup the way I want. I like that it auto detects in ableton and even my vst controls are auto detected and setup in the control area of the launchpad. Very cool. I want to create ambient soundscapes and play my guitar along with it. What really sold me on the launchpad tho was a video from Paul Davids where he uses an Ableton Push to control his live looping setup in Ableton live. This unit allows the same functionality for less than half the price. I find the quality of the unit to be quite good. Its more compact and lighter/more portable than the push 2 as well. The takeaway here is that while the Push2 is probably the best unit for Ableton music creation the display on it and the knobs and a few specific features are really only what separates these two units. I do honestly wish it has the slider mod wheel control. I have not setup a custom pad area for that yet but I may try it here soon. The pad grid as volume controls I thought initially would be kinda annoying but honestly I found it quite good. the ability to slow fade with it is also very cool. One nice side feature I realized is that if you use the launchpad volume sliders to control the drum and vst racks inside ABleton you can easily set it up to switch patches in instances of .vst's in the rack. I have like six tracks now that have over twenty different instances of a .vst in them and can switch quickly from one to the next with this control. Each button has four presses before it goes back to the first press. Using this I can have four instances of .vst in each track under a single button of the 8 button slider... If that makes sense. Very nice and easy to setup feature. The headphones that come with it are decent and comfortable but I already had some nice Sony Studio Monitors so now my kids use the headphones to listen in while I play stuff. Overall very pleased with this purchase. Wish the Push 2 was not $800.00 or I would have bought one of those. This is a very nice second choice I do not regret.

Amazing for every Ableton Live user out there.
I did not want to spend more than twice for a Push and this does it for me. I don’t even live perform and this product gets the creative juices flowing. Extras made the deal even better!

Great product, however its hard to use with little to no experience
Not "noob" friendly. YouTube vids on how to do everything. Will be amazing once I learn how to properly use this along with the software.
