Non toxic and it works!
Bought this for some suede boots and some leather shoes. It works well, but the sprayer on the bottle isn't the best and it comes out splotchy at first. I had to spread it around with my fingers.

Waxy Spray
This product does work well to add shine to a leather boot, once it dries and you give the boot a good buff with horsehair brush. I have had mixed results in the actual waterproofing applied. One pair of boots beads up water better than before, but another pair has little change to its beading performance. It does not have any effect on the color of the leather I've tried it on. If you don't want to add shine, I've had luck applying it, letting it dry, and not buffing with a brush. Also note: this is basically a spray-application wax. This is not something like mink oil paste or hubberds shoe grease, or sno-seal, or some other really heavy waterproofing compound. It's also not a silicone spray.

Nice Product
This worked great on my Thursday leather boots. Unlike what some other posters have said below, it isn’t that hard to use. Spray it on from about 8-10 inches away. Yes there will be a few white dots from the larger droplets...the price you pay for using a pump sprayer instead of an aerosol can. Just lightly wipe the boots down with a cotton cloth (I use an old but clean white T shirt) before the spray dries on the boots (within a couple of minutes is fine). The white droplets will disappear. No muss, no fuss!

Not what you want for sheepskin
This stuff probably works great on smooth leathers, but it didn’t do anything noticeable for my sheepskin coat compared to mink oil spray. In comparison, I didn’t notice anything after I sprayed this on which I suppose isn’t terrible because you don’t want to see any sort of color change on your sheepskin garment, but it does not have the moisturizing action that mink oil does.
