Must Have! Beautifully Done and Simplistically Powerful
If you are new to tarot or a pro card slinger this deck is a must have.I’m a huge Melinda Lee Holm fan, fan of her readings and her beauty line. In the strangest way she reminds me of the artist P!nk. LOL! Just real, strong, smart, and creative. An edgy, beautiful spirit and soul. When I saw she was coming out with her own deck, I pre-ordered immediately. I have been waiting on this one for about 8 months. And it was so worth waiting. I highly recommend this item and did not know what to expect in terms of quality at this price point. Melinda has gifted us all with this power gem! This deck is BEAUTIFULLY done. Basic, yet quality stock on the cards. The guide book is in color and the magnetic box keeps this set secure and tidy. The book is 64 lovely pages with spreads and explanations. The art work is mystical and engaging. You find yourself captivated by the grounding earth tones and color pallet. The card stock is not super stiff or heavy, but neither was the price of the cards. Which I can totally appreciate. I have recently paid a lot more for cards of lower quality and a black & white guide book (see my review of the Rachel True deck). Melinda is the true essence of rustic-urban class. I celebrate her and congratulate her on bringing this tool to us all. Feel the POWER of Elemental Power Tarot.

My new favorite deck
I wasn't sure there would ever be a deck that reflects the way I see the tarot. This one does, almost exactly. That being said, there are a few things to mention.THE MAJORS ARE BEAUTIFUL and would be a fantastic journaling, meditation, or pathworking tool.THIS IS A PIP DECK, and I feel it's a great pip deck. If you have been wanting to learn pips, but find the Tarot de Marseille or other historical decks a bit intimidating, this might work well for you. The meanings of the numbered minors are driven by the number + suit/elemental energy.THE COURTS TAKE A BIT OF PRACTICE. If you are already familiar with the elemental associations, the process will be easier for you. I had them down in ten minutes. The elemental associations are key for the courts. I feel the guidebook does an an adequate job of guiding the distinctions.THE CARDSTOCK IS GREAT FOR SIDE SHUFFLING. I'm a side shuffler. Then only decks I ever riffle shuffle are playing cards. I side shuffle all of my other divination decks and these cards are great for that.THE CARDS ARE A BIT LARGE. This is the only thing I'm not totally down with. On the one hand, the size really makes the artwork, the majors especially, pop. On the other, my hands are small. I intend on trimming these cards up a bit.Overall, I'm completely in love with this deck. There are a few walkthroughs on YouTube if you would like to see it in its entirety.

Absolutely amazing deck, but a few things should have been made clear
Personally, I'm in love with this deck. I fell in love with the imagery of the cards pictured and in person, the artwork does not disappoint. The matte feel of the cards feels very smooth and nice. The size of the cards somehow surprised me and are my largest deck. I had already figured out how to shuffle large cards, and it took a few minutes of shuffling to get used to it, but it feels natural to me now.Imagery is beautiful and I love that there are no people. It makes it much easier to focus on the energy rather than the gender. I also love the element basis of the cards and the book is well done overall. There is a description for every single card in the book, so if you're new to Tarot, there is direction here. The book also covers three spreads that are fairly basic to start with. The box it comes in is lovely and is one of the few boxes I'll keep. However, there are a few things I wish were made more clear either in the book or in the description before buying it. (side note, I have no regrets and I LOVE this deck). In no particular order.-This is a pip deck. The images are beautiful, but if you're not already familiar with the meanings of the Ace-10 cards, you will feel a bit lost. My first RW deck was a pip deck, so I was fine, but not fully aware of this.-Actual card size and paper weight. The cards are now my largest Tarot Deck. The cards are 5 and 1/8" by 3 and 1/8" (or 13cm x 8cm). I also use Oracle Decks, which can run pretty big, so I had already figured out a variety of shuffling methods and it only took me a few tries to figure out a comfortable way to shuffle. (check out Soulful Revolution on Youtube to see how she shuffles.) As far as the paper weight, I do wish it was a little thicker. My guess is that they made it the proper weight for the normal casino shuffle, but it's just not possible with the size of the cards. Also, the cards want to bubble one way way or the other instead of being totally flat. Again, it's not terrible, but it could have been a tiny bit thicker and it would have solved the problem.-How to tell the difference between King and Queen cards. It's not explained well that since the deck doesn't use people in the imagery, it just uses the crowns. At first glance, it is very difficult to tell the difference between KIngs and Queens. I have an art background and finally found the difference, which is that Kings have an air element behind the crown and Queens have a water element behind the crown, regardless of the main element/suit. I appreciate the difference as that is a legit difference between Divine Masculine (being more decisive and logical) and Divine Feminine (being more nurturing and grounded in emotions) but it would have been nice to have it explained in the book.Overall, I highly recommend and am in love with it, but please be aware of the little things about the deck.

Amazing cards. Beautiful artwork. Simplicity and depth. 💗
I love this deck. I have been using it daily since I received it and it has consistently surprised me with the invitation to go deeper into my understanding of energy, tarot, and the meaning that these cards carry. If you are looking for a truly powerful and inclusive deck, look no further. This deck will open your heart and your minds eye to more.Elemental Power Tarot is unique and unlike any other deck I’ve used. I feel more grounded and connected every time I pull a card.

Don’t be confused by the court cards
If you were confused about the court cards, you are missing a major pattern.Pages have earth element, knights have fire element, queens, have water, element, and kings have air element. These associations make sense.Comparing king and queen of water. Queen is water of the water suit, so double water, nothing added. However, the king of water is water plus air so bubbles are added. The same pattern holds across all four suits and all four court cards.

Good pip deck
I prefer pip decks. I would rather use tarot numerology to interpret the pip cards for a wider range of meanings. The book accompanying this deck is very insightful. This is an important deck for me and I highly recommend it.

Genial

Review
The smell of these cards is literally like strong, wet newspaper. I have been airing them out for days now and still waiting. Nice images, paper thin card stock. Like newspaper!

Very perceptive cards with great help from guides
Truly blessed to have dealt these cards as my first deck as I feel much at ease (although it's a difficult (what I perceive to be but really isn't) road ), I am truly blessed the author and the illustrator drew me into tarot through their works and our guides helped this come true for me. I will continue to use this deck as it rings very true for me as it has done for many others. Thank you Melinda.

A beautiful deck on the elements of nature
I've always wanted this deck despite the many reviews spread around the Internet about the so-called "terrible" Minor Arcana. I understand that not everyone wants to work with each and every deck, however, it is clearly mentioned that this specific deck is based on elements and perhaps those who want to or already work with them wouldn't find it that "terrible". The deck comes with depictions of alchemical, astrological and Hebrew symbols. The Major Arcana cards contain apothecary items (one depicted on each card) one can work with. Yes, the Major Arcana is a true piece of art in itself, but I personally do not find the Minor Arcana terrible at all. Think about the tarot de Marseilles; the suits show no human figures - with the exception of the court cards, and it also comes with much different interpretations than the later classic RWS and the decks based on it. I'm not trying to make comparisons here by any means. I'm just giving an example of how some decks may indeed come with few or no human figures and with regards to the Elemental Power tarot, one should expect no human figures at all. I've also noticed that many people find it hard to work with the court cards, but in my view, it's only the Kings and Queens one has to familiarise oneself with. I personally find it a marvellous deck and I believe I'm not the only one. Working with a deck is after all a matter of whether you (wish to) resonate with its energy or not. If you treat it as a foreign object invading your space, then you won't be willing to work with it. Feel your deck, welcome it to your home and personal space, do some cleansing ritual. The tarot is a chameleon and one has but to let and teach oneself how to see.
