Scoop on the spoon is a little small, but ideal for stirring, if you used this as a desert or cake spoon then it won't hold much food, however Its great to give as a present with drinking chocolate etc. I bought a set of these and split them up and gave one as a Christmas card to my choir friends, they were blown away, so highly recommended. In fact I think Ill order a set for myself.
