It's not a miracle, instantaneous cure (nothing really is) but it is effective, natural, and safe with zero side effects.. I've found it works best taking one about 25 minutes before a spicy meal and another immediately at the very first hint of any discomfort. Taste is not offensive or off-putting in any way. It's a bit pricey but worth the fare. I've used it successfully for several years with no complaints and have repurchased often.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Gaia is a very reputable company and located here in the USA. Reflux Relief is my go to on days when either the heartburn or hiatal hernia are severely acting up. Usually within 20 minutes the pain is gone. Tablets are easy to chew and taste fine. Great organic product with natural things that help like marshmallow root and chamomile. A bit pricey, but it works and is organic too.

I used these for over four years (on Subscribe and Save) and was very pleased with the taste and how well they worked. Then, for a while, they were not available--not here or even on their web site. I was so excited to see them back, and I added them to my Subscribe and Save again. BIG MISTAKE!!! These are terrible. This new formula is nothing like the previous formula. It tastes awful, and it doesn't work to relieve my reflux. In fact, when I put it in my mouth, it instantly makes my stomach lurch. I cannot imagine why they would take something that worked so well and had a pleasant taste and turn into this? I ended up throwing the bottle away. On top of everything else, they are charging $3 more a bottle!!! My previous review: I have experienced reflux for about a year now, and I tried several other remedies. I decided to try these and see if they helped--I prefer natural things, so it seemed like something good to try. They work. My neighbor was here one day when he experienced heartburn, and he asked me if I had any of a popular brand of antacid. I told him I didn't, but I gave him one of these. He was so surprised that it worked fast, and he was feeling better very soon. He now buys these! The taste is pleasant, and they act fast.

This products works well as long as I maintain a simple diet and stay away from foods that are fried, spicy or overly processed.

These do work for heartburn, they taste pretty bad, but they work!

I was a skeptic after being on Rx Prilosec for 8 years. But I was tired of putting chemicals into my body that could potentially damage my kidneys and bones so I started taking this instead. The first few days were rough for sure. But after about 5 days of taking them after every meal, I haven’t taken one in days and I feel great. No burning, burping etc. I’ll probably still need to take them occasionally but it feels like they healed my stomach instead of just treating it. Taste is not great but could be worse. It’s like an overly sweet marshmallow mint. If you like mints then this is for you.

They changed the packaging and also the formula it tastes absolutely horrible now. Almost spicy in a sense, like peppermint ? All I know is that if I am having reflux why would I want something almost spicy as the remedy, makes no sense. Incredibly frustrating as this is the only thing that really helped my bouts with reflux.The previous version was more chalky and mellow and the only remedy I can take in order to avoid not having to take PPIs and Famotidine. PLEASE GAIA BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FORMULATION!
